      @@QuizMasterEntertainment Truthfully speaking, I also want too become a game designer and create games along with creating art for those games so that I can take most of the credit without hiring extra people.
      However, I'm still not currently good at either of those things because I haven't honed my art skills or learned how too code, so I'm still wanting to start learning those skills so that maybe they could both pay off for me, but I'm wondering if I'm biting off more than I can chew?
      I'm wondering if I should take a course in graphic design so that I don't waste time learning those skills individually instead of both at once.

    • @QuizMasterEntertainment
      @QuizMasterEntertainment 2 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      @@doclouis4236 To be honest, I'd tell you to just take whatever skill you can use and hone it as you can, I've been working pixel art daily for over four years and while I get a really good pay for my job, I am more than certain I can't do it all myself unless I wanted to need reasons to jump off a bridge.
      My best advice, work with people you can rely on, my team is just the best people I got from different projects I worked on along with friends of mine. Anyone who can spot some time for you will help, but most importantly, work in something small at first, if you try to go for something too big or complex at first, the entire team will crash down to pieces.
      You could just work on 3D assets and just reuse them/edit them every other game if you by no means want to work with a team, but likely you'll need a music guy then.
      In short, either you get people you can get along as a team or focus on really simple stuff you can work on yourself until you can work on bigger projects or hire people to work under you once your games are more known.

    4:24 can anyone tell me what programming language that is? There's c-like syntax, but no semicolons, and "func void." I originally thought it was C# but that requires semicolons, and I don't think C# existed/was common in 2000 (this appears to be Prince of Persia Sands of Time, and the computers are running Windows 2000).
    Edit: Ok so I found a manual on JADE and the syntax there is wildly different from what we see on here. It's definitely not that.
