As a veterinary professional, this was very helpful.

I had a very frightening experience with anesthesia they put me under general anesthesia for surgery and when they finished they couldn't wake me up after nine hours I finally woke up to three nurses surrounding me one rubbing my sternum very hard another one saying come on you need to wake up hey wake up it's time to wake up you need to wake up
I woke up only collapsing back to sleep they hospitalize me for a week and it took three days to fully come out of the anesthesia when I finally did I had swelling of my fingers flashing sweating vomiting hallucinating and convulsing… Combination of bad reaction to anesthesia and pain meds it's absolutely terrifying' because I'm supposed to get another surgery on my colon.

Thank you very much for your great information. My Korean Dinjo was taken to the vet for dental work and in return, I get a deaf dog. I'm immensely devastated.

Gloria Arevalo I had the same experience! My pet soulmate died under anesthesia for dental work. It’s so hard going from blaming the vet to forgiving her to hating her again to wondering if it was my fault for even taking him there...

Poor students. Don't make fun of them. They are there for learning not to be a joke. Very sad what he said about the student that decided to be a surgeon and "gladly" not an anesthesiologist.
