Thank you for posting this! It definitely is a vulnerable topic but so many of us can relate. I'm working with a naturopath because I have similar symptoms and she always says "your systems are SO common but they are not normal". I don't understand why schools are not educating young women about how PMS really shouldn't be a thing!
Saw this video a year later after its publishing, but really, thank you for this. I feel just as you and I bet many other women can relate and just seeing someone sharing it so openly really helps in accepting that it’s all normal. I saved the video in my Pms folder and I think I will watch it every time I feel like bullying myself for not being at my best. Again, thank you for this video!
Thank you for talking about this! I think a lot of people don't understand how much menstrual cycles/periods can affect your every day life! I was recently diagnosed with pcos and for years a lot of people have just disregarded my symptoms and how I feel, including so many doctors!!! Its so tough to just be forced to go about every day tasks when you're in so much pain, when you have no energy and of course the millions of other wonderful symptoms that come along with having your period. It's refreshing to see more people having open conversations about how shit it can be, rather than "just suck it up, everyone else has to deal with it" "you're probably exaggerating, get over it" and the countless comments that I have seen that just bring women down and make them downplay their potentially serious symptoms, and feel like they can't talk about it to anyone. So again, thank you Ella for making this video!
I love this! So much of this resonated with me - especially since coming off birth control earlier in the year. I’m only just now learning about the different phases and patterns across my cycles. It’s so scary that no one really teaches you about this stuff!
Hey Ella, love the prints! Can I ask where your headboard/bed head is from? I’m currently shopping for a new one and love yours when I’ve seen it in previous vlogs 🙂 x
Get yourself a hot water bottle too if you get bad cramps but yes nurofen helps too Your nighttime syrup could have valerian in it lol it doesn’t taste great it helps with stress and sleep lol
Thank you for posting this🧡 I agree it should be talked about. How do you deal with insomnia bc I get it here and there too and it’s just really annoying. We are not alone though
Sadly seems here doc don't take any period shit seriously can be years until they Finley care iv had sever cramps back pain since I was 11 now in my 31 at 26 I got pmdd so sever period symptoms two weeks before
Omg I’ve heard so many terrible reviews of vitex for pms and skin - please if you don’t see improvement within 30 days try other things. You shouldn’t have to try something for months before you see positive changes.

Absolutely agree 🥰 it’s so common that it’s because ‘normal’ but it shouldn’t be x

Thank you Summer 🤍 I can’t believe I didn’t learn about it sooner too. It’s so empowering once we start to understand our bodies better x

Fun fact coffee blocks all absorption of iron (: take any iron 2 hours away from coffee (and tea!) -from a naturopath 😘

the cramps when getting your period is like trying to live with a knife in your stomach
I’m on mine right now
Last night I was so depressed
Ughh when you're so fatigued on your period you want coffee but know that will worsen cramps 😭
I love your mirror! Wheres it from? 🥰
Thank you! The one in the bedroom or lounge room? The one in the bedroom is from Amazon and lounge room mirror is from ikea 🥰
