- What's up! I documented a trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica celebrating my friends 25th year of life.
1. We stayed at the Hilton Rose Resort and flew United. This trip was taken during COVID but things are a little eased due to vaccines being widely available. I recommend this as a safe & fun getaway. There's a mask mandate, sanitizer stations everywhere and temperature checks upon arrival to the hotel. This resort provides transpo to/from airport as well.
2. For excursions, bring around $400, that's for about 3 . Your resort should work out logistical elements upon check in.
3. Bring lots of cash to tip! The locals are super sweet and deserve to be tipped for their services (transportation to and from resort/ excursions, waiters, tour guides, etc.)
4. Since the resort is all inclusive (alcohol too) you don't spend a lot of money outside of tips and souvenirs. It's very convenient!
5. If going with a group set a standard before hand. How do your parties define vacation? Is it rest or non stop excursions? Make sure your parties have the same home habits. Are they OCD or ok with mess? Do they easily get hot or cold? The little details are important if rooming for a pleasurable experience. Just food for thought!

We went zip lining at Chukka. It was a part of an excursion package that the hotel offered.
