  • Arcteryx Atom LT Jacket Review - Active Insulation Perfection
The Arcteryx Atom LT is a legend of a jacket. I have had several versions of the Atom LT over the last 8+ years and it is one of my favorites. This active insulation is a great combo of stretch, warmth, looks and function. With 60 grams of CoreLoft insluation, 20D nylon outer and side panels of stretchy fleece - this is a very comfortable jacket.
The color is Bitters (kind of a chocolate brown)

Love the color. Thinking about getting one. And I pretty much like the jacket version cause it can be used for casual wear as well plus it‘ll fit better underneath another jacket without having the hood in the way. Seems like a great piece. Thx for the vid! 💪

Atom LT and also the AR are great for cool and cold seasons. AR has more warmth when less active.

Your reviews on Arc’teryx gear are awesome, very objective but makes me look at things functionality wise that I would have never thought of.
I’m relatively new to Arcteryx in terms of purchasing their products, but have been a fan for a long time whether it be their build quality or their aesthetics. Keep up the great content!

I see many similarities between the long sleeves version and the vest. Sadly, the vest removed the internal zip pocket. Therefore, only 2 side external pockets on the vest version. It is stylish, well fitting and does the insulation job as you described. Thanks for the review

Hi mate, great vid. How cold was it when you were filming this? I’m after a warm jacket that I can use over a tee shirt and maybe a thin jumper while keeping warm in colder temps. Temp range around 5deg Celsius. Would you recommend this jacket? I travel a fair bit also for work so it would be good for a nice warm jacket for static use (flights etc) and city use. What’s your thoughts?

Have they made any changes to the atom for 2023 compared to previous models? I heard this year Atom lt was gonna be called the atom and then the atom sl is gonna be the atom lightweight. Then the beta lt is Gonna be beta and then there is gonna be a beta lightweight. That’s at least what the manager told me at my local Arc’teryx store haha

@@Engearment thanks I would love to know if it’s true or not cause if it is I heard it would happen this month but still nothing. I’m over here waiting for the beta lt restock that still hasn’t happened haha. I have an atom lt a slightly older model not super old. But I outgrew it I was waiting for this suppose new version which I dont know if it’s actually a thing or not but I dont know if I should get a new atom lt or the north face Casaval you reviewed. Hoodies of course. I know casaval comes in a hybrid model. Or I can do proton lt or proton hybrid but I believe hybrid proton won’t be as warm so maybe just the other 3 options unless you have tried proton. Hybrid. Thanks! It would be used for snowboarding and daily wear
