If not => Lossless Scaling. A life saver already with MSFS2020. Was able to crank graphs way up on my Lenovo L7 and really enjoying great graphics now.
@@gstrdms I've cranked graphics so that on some airports with lots of traffic my native FPS is around 17 - with LS it's 40! Smoooooth. Only problem is I now play all the time 😁
when I was picking parts for the pc I built, one of the things I read was that going from 5600mhz ram to 6400Mhz yields an 8FPS gain@4k and going from 6400Mhz ram to 7200Mhz gains almost another 2 fps @4k and from 7200 to 7800 was barely another frame, with the higher ram speeds you get tighter frame timings with a strong CPU/ a GPU that pegs to 100% all day long. what 4k was the test on? 3840x2160= 8,264,4000 or 4096x2160=8,847,360 ( numbers of the display i use 48' LG C3 displayable pixels and will do 12 bit color per channel and or almost 69 Billion colors @120hz) and or how man displayed pixels does the display have that you used in this test. Under the specs of all GPU's there is a number of how many Pixels per second the GPU will process and that will give you the frame rate + or - a few percent. The sim looks amazing great presentation. I live in Canada and our PC parts are pretty hi, I opted for the parts that would get me into 4k being the cheapest 4090 lists for 2600ca before our 14% tax and when I bought my parts it was less than 12 months until the 50 series hit the shelves so I settled for the 4070ti super being less than half the price of a 4090 at the time I could not justify the more than double the price for only a 50% gain in performance. Just my 2 cents but if you listed all the pc specs under the video description that will help your views and viewers see what the display has for pixels, ram speed and other pc parts. still great video, better than i could ever do.
Yeah but CPUs like the 7750X3D bottlenecks with a high end gpu such as a rx 7800 and 7900xtx I run a 7750 with a 7900xtx 24gb and it still has a 13% bottleneck.
ive got an asus 3090 OC 24gb it runs msfs on all settings ultra except for about 3 settings and get a steady 45fps with a 5800x3d, the extra onboard memory on the GPU and CPU really helps.
We always seem to want more, but after a fair amount of research, this is what I settled on. Seemed to balance both cost and performance 4070 gpu, i7-13700, 32gb ddr5 (upgrading to 64 for 2024)
Nice review! Thanks. My 3.5 year old system should be fine at 4k then. Intel Core i9-10980XE Extreme Edition (18-Core) Nvidia RTX 3090 Founders Edition 24GB ASUS ROG Strix X299-E Gaming II 64GB DDR4 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro
I read at 4k reviews there is almost a 10 fps gain just going from 5600Mhz ram to 6400Mhz ram and just over 1FPS gain going from 6400Mhz to 7200Mhz @ 4k. Low rez makes almost no difference in frame rates. strange
AS good as FS2024 looks and the good news from the days sound I’m a little bit vary. Remember the SU5 debacle, where they prosed far and wide about the fps boost only for us PC flyers to realize that types nerfed the graphics in a way that we STILL suffers from today, SU 5 also coincided with the release of Xbox, so hardly a coincidence.
@@SimUKAviation yes, but modern game engines have enough settings and dynamism to support BOTH high end PC’s and consoles. Back then they didn’t, they just nerfed it for everyone.

@@prussell890 your experience is anecdotal. Some people have had better luck with X3D chips and others with the 12/13th gen intel chips. Both are great. That said, I think everyone is avoiding Intel chips right now though (and for good reason) due to the oxidation problems and thermal degradation that has been reported in the newer chips. Regardless, the average benchmark shows the X3D chips perform better in MSFS.
RTX4090 perfect for the job on MSFS with the 10900k that's all I will tell you, my Q8 youtuber complained of throttling after upgrading to the 13900k and now Intel has a problem of over voltage and performance issues with the 12th, 13th and 14th gen CPU be wise and do your research.

100+ FPS with a 1080ti. Why not?

MSFS gains a lot of FPS on a good CPU Moreso than many other games, especially X3D CPU.
It actually doesn't the i7 does better i have both
Precisely my thoughts. CPU before GPU

32GB DDR5 at 3200MHZ? Is your RAM correct?
What I was thinking, that is below stock ddr5 spec. An intentional bottleneck. absolute minimum should be 4000.

MSFS is an one threaded game. So. CPU plays main role in FPS. Choose AMD 7800 X3D (Intel have serious problem with oxidation degradation process)
Nope incorrect i have both and the i7 performs better
Agree with the CPU bound statement, not so sure about your AMD statement though?
