The design is pretty cool. I had a micro apartment about the same size and would've loved the hideaway bed. Overall, tiny living is not for everyone. If you're a minimalist, this is all you need. By the time I moved out, everything I owned fit in the back of a pickup truck.
Lots of snowy areas in AZ, so it's good they take this into consideration otherwise they'd limit their market to the Mesa/Phx/Tucson area. I'd love one of these in Flagstaff or Springerville to use as a winter cabin and a place to escape when the summers in the city get too hot.
@Thr33.Sid3z I was under that exact misconception, where I am in Canada the Arizona weather report just shows us Phoenix. Where I am, we average 10 to 12 feet of the heaviest wettest snow every winter.
@@newfiescreech7328 Arizona is very unique as a state in that you experience three different climate types in one state. Mountains, complete with snow and full winter lifestyle, Mountainous/Rocky painted high dessert with crazy winds and storms, then the low desert/valley complete with arid and dangerous heat waves and home to the fifth largest city in the country.
Kerry, Do me a favor & move that damn terrarium before it smashes into a million pieces on the floor. I've been watching it for several videos & it's going to go soon. Cheers!

Really glad you stopped yourself from fiddling with the blinds. I think I would want the Murphy bed, just because I like the hideaway part of it. Great tour. Thanks Kerry 🥶🖤🔔👍🏻❤️

For the past few weeks I've been watching your terrarium (in the background) as it seems to be "living on the edge" of that piece of furniture. Great job, as usual!
I love both Zinnihomes models so much that I already went to their website to find out if a loss of power would be a problem. I'm in FL so power outages happen here. Love the blinds! Thanks for sharing this information.
I may be wrong, but aren't they designed to be off-grid so power outages might be minimal? Or maybe I'm mixing up these modular companies. I'm so jealous that you're in Florida, btw. I'm freezing in Wyoming right now!

Great video. Happy that you answered those questions many of which I had but did not comment on. I guess that you have really made it on TH-cam when Skillshare sponsors you. Congratulations. Very well designed ❤ and worth the price if you can afford it 😊 . If I were single this would be my new home. 🏡 Another fantastic video 🥇🏆 keep up the fantastic work 👍🏾
Thanks for posting, Kerry! I am surprised more tiny homes do not incorporate this type of technology to make their tiny homes, well, you know, more use case adaptable.
Nice compact layout, and thanks for the info about the insulation - I see alot of tropical plants on your presentations- and the tour of the factory. ABOOT the shoes on the coffee table; does your mom know!!??
What would be interesting with these innovative modular homes that have a degree of "high design" is to incorporate these into a very small version of Seaside, Florida. perhaps a community of 25 of these modular homes of different sizes, with parking on the perimeter of the community, walking paths to and from the common areas, a common kitchen garden, siting areas, play spaces, BBQ grills and other features. This could be with proper zoning an alternative path to homeownership, community and a better alternative to renting. I could not see living in one of these units for the long term. Too small. Perhaps one of these set up on a mountain property or similar location. I do have questions as to how these homes will age over the long term in terms of repairability, durability and ease maintenance.
For 70k USD you get a brand modern looking new apartment 1400 sqf 3 bedrooms, two living rooms, 2 bathrooms, ceramic flooring looking like marble, fridge , stove, dishwasher and not far away from the beach...In Morocco and as a bonus food, utility, insurance, gym, 2 cell, 5 restaurant outings per month. All for 400$ USD/month. No mass shooting no homeless people, no discrimination, no drugs and great weather 310 days per year.
Love the separated areas. I wonder if the builder would tweak the build to add two pop outs to hold my bookcases and lose windows? If I could have my library in such a wee abode, I would be in heaven.
I am verry happy for you and if you like this kind of living arrangment/ design then I wish you well. I guess at 46 years old I will always be a traditional person. Which is why as a single guy I would prefer to live in a three bedroom two bathroom home that was bulit in the late 1970s and/or early 1980s. I also guess if I were living some place I would rather have my place feel comfortable and uncrowded. Mr.Tarnow I do and I mean it if you are happy with your new home I wish you nothing but blessings. Each person deserves happiness and a place to live. God Bless -Jason.
Thanks, Kerry! Great little place. LOVE it! Q1. What does one need for a foundation? I noticed the rocks in the model home. Does that mean it needs concrete pylons? (what is the proper term??) Q2. I noticed air ducts (correct?) above the smaller side door off the kitchen. Does that mean it has HVAC or some facsimile? Great channel!
Truly this is what most people are wanting right now when it comes to living. There is no reason to have an apartment if there is going to be so much dead space. This keeps the carbon footprint very tiny and you just need to keep it on a lot. If you have a friend or a SO that wants something like this, you can just have a couple of them linked together like they showed here.
Interesting concept. Land is needed to build, but does anyone live in a house like this? I'd like to see an interview with a person who owns one of these and hear his/her story about buying the house and getting everything setup to live in it.
Not in yet but will be hopefully in the next 90 days or sooner, but I live very close to the models and have been to them often. Mine, the Citizen is finished, and we are in the permitting process and site prep. I'm #12 on the list but because of the stages of site prep, I could actually be 1 or 2 in living in one before the others.

The shower design reminds me of the same solution I saw decades ago in a small apartment in Greece. I thought how strange it was they didn't have actual shower cabin but the open design with sloped floor and waterproof surface works great for small spaces. I could live in it 😁👍
Did you ever think of doing a video comparing a small double wide compared to one of the prefab tiny homes of a similar size ? Maybe do one together with Chance's mobile world. You guys would be pretty funny together.
I like the design but the price not so much. I was thinking you could buy a 1-2 acre land lot and put these on it to combat the high priced rents and the housing shortage but, you'd have to charge $900 a month just to break even with the cost per unit. which defeats the purpose for those struggling to find affordable homes to rent.
I love it! It's just me, it would be perfect. Power outage, use your arms and hands. GEEZ! THANKS, KERRY. Still looking for property in central Washington, maybe in Tonasket? That's probably south of you across the border. Or, are you in Edmonton? When I get my tiny home built I'll invite you down. Don Wilson.
Its beautiful 😍 the Gimmicks scare me a bit 😮.....floating beds...moving walls... i also think the bathroom deserves a dedicated shower! So my Question is,.... is it a movable tiny home ....or is stationery? 🎉❤
bed that goes to ceiling makes a huge difference in making the space feel bigger. Not a fan of the some of the variable panel gaps for the white exterior panels though. And fridge and washer should switch locations.
Looking out the window and seeing the walkway connecting the units... and I suddenly imagined a little community of pods coming together. All the pods extending out from a central firepit/casual area for socializing and community meets... could be nice
I loved this home . I do wish you showed the area where the fridge is ,and the inside of the walk in closet . I would also go with the option of the Murphy bed , as the automatic is pricey .
