Welcome back. Lovely to see and hear from you today. I am so sorry for the loss of your Nan. Dementia is such a hard disease on both the person who has it and the family who loves them. I love your blackwork piece, just stunning. You have done so much beautiful stitching. I hope you have a blast at your next retreat. So many beautiful patterns to stitch. Really enjoyed hearing about the crafty tendencies in your family. Happy stitching. Dawn in Texas, USA
Hi Dawn, thank you for the welcome back 🤩 thank you so much for your kind words. I agree with you dementia is a very cruel disease. I’ve already bought my fabric to take part in the wanderer Sal part 2… so more blackwork will be coming soon. Happy stitching to you all the way in Texas! Texas is somewhere I would love to visit one day. I bet you have so many incredible LNS’s!
So sorry for your families loss. Your blackwork is gorgeous. That cottagecore sampler is so cute! Love it on that blue fabric. "No. Just be quiet." Adorable.
So sorry for your loss. Only just found your flosstube videos. Iv binge watched them and really enjoyed the. Really enjoyed seeing all your stitching progress 😊❤
So happy for another video from you! I absolutely loved hearing about your family history with crafts and stitching. The Shambles is such a lovely tribute.
I’ve been waiting for this upload! The “Just be quiet…. Love you” is by far the highlight of the video 😂 I am absolutely in for Jeanette Douglas swapsies, great excuse to get it started for a chance to finish it this decade 😅, definitely also in for monthly haul because it was most definitely the best part of the weekend. Big YES for Needlelot Designs, her patreon is amazing. The Prairie Schooler ABC was done by the lovely Brenda of handworkmaniac ❤
😂😂 I actually laughed at that too when I watched it back.. poor Jonny! Ooh yes! I’ll get the animals one started soon, no rush though I’ve been enabled by all of you over the weekend so it may take me a while 😂 Ohh thank you! That’s a new FlossTube to add to the list.. I’ve already gotten into a bidding war on eBay for the rest of the alphabet 😂
Hi Soph, lovely to catch up with you. Sorry for your loss but your piece to honour your grandmother is lovely and obviously stitched with love. Great haul too - really nice to see some patterns by different designers. Enjoy your next retreat! Kim ❤

@@sophsewph I’m from Northumberland, UK, and go to a stitchy meet with just so sherrie who I think you met on that retreat…she’s another lovely cross stitcher! Also meant to say so sorry for your loss but love the piece you have chosen to stitch for your nan. I lost my dad in 2022 and I’m still looking for that perfect piece to stitch for him ❤️
@@dubdreams28 my Nan who passed away was originally from Northumberland so I have a soft spot for you Geordies and your accent 😉. I did meet Sherrie on the retreat, she is lovely and hilarious! She educated me in some Northern foods… Peas Pudding and Mince & Cheese Dumplings? I’m planning a trip up that way hopefully this year to see where my Nan grew up and I’m going to have to try both of these when I’m there… I’m so sorry to hear about your Dad. Stitching is such a good way to honour a loved one. I hope you find the perfect piece and it brings you closer to him 🧡
