I always tell myself you don't need that new Car or that vacation just yet and that mindset helps me make more money invest:ng. For example last year I invested 70k in blue chip stocks and crypt0 s (with the help of my advisor of course) and made about 380k, but guess what? I put it back and traded with her again and now I'm rounding up close to a million. Delayed gratification always pays off

I appreciate everything you said about wealth transfer, and about how it evaporates over the generations. However, I disagree with your analysis about why businesses go extinct once you reach later generations. It's not necessarily because they didn't have the business savvy or the knowhow or the vision of the originator. Sometimes it's simply a matter of passions. Do you know how hard it is to be a 4th generation lawyer when what you really want to do with your life is be a painter? So again, is not a matter of aptitude, but one might simply not have any interest in keeping the law firm operating. The same thing is true about mom and pop stores, hardware stores, etc.
Hmmm? No... Management of money doesn't depend on what you want to do, you can do whatever you want to do but management of the wealth you inherited is dependent on you not your interest or anything, that is what I think feel free to differ.

Another amazing video! Everyone wants to go from A to Z really quick not realizing that you must learn all the letter and go through the pain, disappointments, heart breaks, etc to get there in order to really appreciate it. People that inherit their wealth (trust fund babies) don't understand struggle and they're usually the ones that get in positions of power which at the end, result on making laws that are not based on real life experiences but merely what a study shows, that was made by people who never experience hardship.
Just because a stock is going up doesn’t mean it’s a good investment. Just because a stock is going down doesn’t mean it’s a bad investment. there's more to a stock than just its stock price. An entire company more. focus on the company, not just the stock price. ever grateful to my F.A *Janet Estes Cobb* ……I made over half a million from TSLA, GME and NVDA.
I have a similar background. My family had to leave communist Cuba, and all of their wealth was handed to the Cuban government. They had to come here and start from scratch. That meant my parents had no inheritance and neither will I and my sisters. So everything we have, we’ve earned and built. The entire concept of inheritance is so alien to me. The fact that so many people are just HANDED a fortune, gives them such a big advantage. Now, my kids will have an inheritance and I HOPE they will continue to do things to build on it. My poor grandparents left behind a large sugar cane farm, and the other a chain of supermarkets. I can’t begin to imagine losing all of that, moving to a new country, with NOTHING. Yet they did pretty well. They were just built different. I would have just crawled into a hole probably.
Good job on getting all that information. That must have been a lot of work to put it all together like this in a video. That is one good reason why you would never lose your wealth if you got a big inheritance. You got wisdom and you’re smart and you are kind to humans.
I wish I could say that my baby boomer parents were doing well financially. They never received nor sought out the financial education that’s been made so accessible today. Really cool video! But I'd be careful comparing these percentages. Baby-boomers will obviously have more wealth than millennials in every category you mentioned. Baby boomers are no longer plagued with student loans and they've been making money longer than millennials have been around. Millennials are just fresh into the job market. Many are still studying and don't have money to invest - it's life. If you truly wanted to compare these percentages, we'd need to take other factors into account: like take the cost of living at the time vs now and normalize these percentages / $ amounts. Another amazing video! Everyone wants to go from A to Z really quick not realizing that you must learn all the letter and go through the pain, disappointments, heart breaks, etc to get there in order to really appreciate it. People that inherit their wealth (trust fund babies) don't understand struggle and they're usually the ones that get in positions of power which at the end, result on making laws that are not based on real life experiences but merely what a study shows, that was made by people who never experience hardship.

I have a similar background. My family had to leave communist Cuba, and all of their wealth was handed to the Cuban government. They had to come here and start from scratch. That meant my parents had no inheritance and neither will I and my sisters. So everything we have, we’ve earned and built. The entire concept of inheritance is so alien to me. The fact that so many people are just HANDED a fortune, gives them such a big advantage. Now, my kids will have an inheritance and I HOPE they will continue to do things to build on it. My poor grandparents left behind a large sugar cane farm, and the other a chain of supermarkets. I can’t begin to imagine losing all of that, moving to a new country, with NOTHING. Yet they did pretty well. They were just built different. I would have just crawled into a hole probably.

I wish I could say that my baby boomer parents were doing well financially. They never received nor sought out the financial education that’s been made so accessible today. Fortunately, I’m benefitting from resources like your videos, Andrei, and hopefully I can soon offer my parents the help they need.

Really cool video! But I'd be careful comparing these percentages. Baby-boomers will obviously have more wealth than millennials in every category you mentioned. Baby boomers are no longer plagued with student loans and they've been making money longer than millennials have been around. Millennials are just fresh into the job market. Many are still studying and don't have money to invest - it's life.
If you truly wanted to compare these percentages, we'd need to take other factors into account: like take the cost of living at the time vs now and normalize these percentages / $ amounts.

Good video as always. I'd love to see you mention "values" investing (e.g. ESG funds) in a video. I was surprised to learn that funds screened for environmental, social, and governance have actually done *better" than their non-esg benchmarks. Seems like you could find some interesting editorializing in there.
It's the free market at work... sort of. I'm assuming these ESG funds are getting massive subsidies from the government.
Sin industries outperform all other sectors but you will hardly ever hear anyone bring that up.
