    I've always been amazed that balsa planes weren't offered as an ARF on par with foamies. Fantastic.

    I'm glad there are still wood planes. Everything about them is so much better than foamies, except when it comes to repairing them...

    What size sunnysky motor does it come with?

    In terms of Rx hookup, can 2 Y-harnesses be used (for ailerons & flaps) to allow for a simple 5 channel connection? Just want to sport fly this nothing crazy.

    • @MerryBoozerRC
      @MerryBoozerRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No unless you run a reverser on one of the flaps. You will need to run one of your flaps in the gear channel and set up the wing type to 1 aileron 2 flaps

    • @dandanthedandan54321
      @dandanthedandan54321 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MerryBoozerRC Hmm I think I understand. Y harness ailerons and use 5 & 6 for flaps thus allowing use of a 6 channel Rx (like AR620, 630 or 631 as I fly Spektrum).
      Only plane I have that needs to be set up this way. I guess I’m not experienced enough in this hobby yet to fully understand why they did it this way. I do understand the 3D guys want everything going to individual channels for better control but this is a sport plane.

    • @MerryBoozerRC
      @MerryBoozerRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dandanthedandan54321 they did it this way so you can do flaps or full span ailerons. The flaps have to be on two ports to do the mix

    You could get red lock tight off with a little heat. It will come right apart

    • @MerryBoozerRC
      @MerryBoozerRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Or just use blue from the start

    • @jeffwest5080
      @jeffwest5080 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MerryBoozerRC I use both, on my metal house EDF I use red on all screws as I’ve had blue back out.
