I moved from LA to Nashville in 2017 and it's the best decision I have ever made! I'm not in the music industry or anything, which is what most people move here for, but unlike LA, the people here are so welcoming no matter what your "career status" is! The city is forever changing (which some people hate, I've learned to embrace), the restaurants are great and popping up every day, you get the perfect mixture of city and country (hiking trails galore!), it's an easy weekend trip to some really beautiful areas of the country, and overall everyone is just so kind! This city has been through a lot this year, but to see how much love comes from the lows has been really inspiring. Oh, and the housing market is pretty great (well, depending on what areas you're looking I guess) - but much better in comparison to many other "big" cities! As a native Tennesseean, I have seen the quality of life decline because of the growth. The cost of living has skyrocketed, the traffic congestion is a nightmare, over crowed schools higher crime rate and a lot of people moving here are unfortunately bringing their leftist ways with them

I moved to Nashville back in August for school and loveeee it! The weather is perfect, you get the hot summer days and the cold winter nights and the occasional snow. There’s so much to do and it has just about everything you want, country and city, music, mountains, lakes...and everyone is so nice. I highly recommend it!
I was born in Florida and have lived in Tennessee, Kentucky, and now North Carolina for the past 10 years. Tennessee is great with healthcare and is a very relaxed state so you guys would love it on the west side , east side is kinda meh. I love the Carolinas so much and NC has everything , mountains with waterfalls and rock climbing and clean cities and clean beaches with wild horses. I hope you find your perfect spot wherever you guys choose to move 😊💙

In terms of donations here’s something something people don’t think of, take them to a psychiatry unit of some sort! I work for one and a lot of the times patients come in with no clothes (due to them being cut off) and we have to send them home in donations. A lot of homeless people who come to the unit could also use some extra clothes to leave with!
I totally relate!! I’m appreciating being able to go to school here and enjoy everything LA has to offer, but for so many reasons I will be moving to a safer place where you can get more land when I’m settling down. So excited for your next chapter!
I am from California and I completely understand what you are saying ! My husband and I moved out of California in 2018 and it was the best decision we ever made ! I wish you and Marcus the best in this new adventure.
I KNEW she was pregnant in this vid! I was thinking wow they’re really moving fast -early February. They must be pregnant. They want to find a place to start a family!!
Kristin, I will pray for your move and transition. Definitely meditate on Proverbs 3:5-6. Personally, I taught English in Spain for 2 yrs and was planning to renew my teaching contract again but didn't feel at peace. Then the lockdown happened, returned home, and after some time the Lord showed me to relocate to Birmingham, AL. These are crazy times but the Lord is good and faithful.
So excited for you! My only advice would be to see all of the choices and options as blessings because most people don’t have a choice to build a house, buy land...etc. I understand it is hard to be in a time of transition, my husband and I are moving this year also and I just have to remind myself that we are blessed and just to enjoy the ride and know that God will lead us to where we need to be.
I’m 17 and from Austin and I have lived here my whole life and childhood and I think you would love it here!! It’s a great place to raise a family and the suburbs around are very great with good school systems and lots to do! The food is great, music is great, and the people are super friendly in Texas!
I had the same injury to my right hip a year ago from a 4wheeler accident and it takes a long time for the strength and confidence in that joint to come back. You have to work on it slowly, don;t push it too hard but work on it each day and you will feel it get stronger. My doctors recommended a bike or eliptical since the impact of a treadmill can cause irritation. Hope this helps.
I grew up my first part of my life in Orange County California and my family drove 4 days across country to Indiana and we have been here ever since! I love your videos and wish you and Marcus the best wherever y’all end up! I can’t wait to see where the lord takes you

It may sound crazy, but I have been following y’all for so long on Instagram and TH-cam that I am going to miss seeing your cutie house in vlogs😢🏠. I remember when y’all were still living at your first house and then moved into this one. Y’all have done a super great job at fixing it up and making it your own💕 I know that this next home will be just as beautiful and special to you both!
ITS TENNESSEE FOR ME🤍 We live about 45 minutes outside of nashville and it’s absolutely perfect. Austin is becoming another LA I personally feel like. But just trust God and his timing! Love you guyssss.
I have a few vlogs documenting my Move from MA to Nashville! Before I moved I was obsessed with watching videos of other people moving to Nash to *prepare* LOL. Nashville is a great place to live! Very casual but always with exciting things/farmers markets to go to at any time, the restaurants are amazing, and everywhere is super dog friendly!
I love this, Kristin! Love the faith you and Marcus are choosing to have in this whole situation. The Lord is with you, pouring out an abundance of peace. Excited for you guys and your new adventures! 😄
I know neither of these couples in real life, but I’m almost sure of it when I say that neither of them would be cool with hate towards someone on their behalf. Radiate the love of Jesus, and know judgement is not yours to voice- all it does is displease the Lord and land back on your own lap. No hate, just really felt bothered by this tiny but yucky thread :c
I totally get how you’re feeling about moving out of LA. I just moved from a very big city to a smaller one that suits my pace of life and I’m so happy. But it’s sad to leave friends, family and memories behind. Take it day by day and let yourself feel all those emotions that come with a transitional period ❤️
I could not relate to how you’re feeling about moving more...I am also about to make a big move in the next month and all of the unknowns are really scary. I’ve been praying a lot about the pros and cons of everything and just looking for clarity. 2021 will be a huge change for sure. Love your videos ❤️
I completely understand. My husband & I are in the process of selling our first home, which we both love but we want something different now, much like you, we want land & privacy. It’s so scary to think I will no longer have this home....it’s the first time I’ve ever been attached to my living arrangements. Best of luck to you & I’m sure everything will work out. There is a reason you are being pulled in a different direction & at some point hopefully you’ll know what that reason is.
I am right there with you! My fiancé and I are waiting to hear where I will get into graduate school so we know where we will move in May after we get married, but we won't know until April 😳. It is hard sometimes to be patient, but I know God already has a plan!
So excited for you guys! I know moving especially across the country is daunting and scary. Have you considered Franklin, TN? Right outside of Nashville and a ton of beautiful properties with land! The people are so nice and you get a great taste of both city and county life. I don’t live in TN but every time I visit it’s a place I love and know I would love living there myself! Could be a great fit for your family.
Kristin, I remember your older videos and when you mention Marcus and how he isn’t the best with change. I also feel your nervous energy about moving and understand it, because I have moved a great distance in my life as well and always had the moving jitters... But I hope Marcus and your nerves will be at peace during this move, I have a strong feeling you guys will end up in Tennessee... As a native Tennesseean, I have seen the quality of life decline because of the growth. The cost of living has skyrocketed, the traffic congestion is a nightmare, over crowed schools higher crime rate and a lot of people moving here are unfortunately bringing their leftist ways with them
okay hear me out, IDAHO is such a beautiful place to live and settle down and raise a family. the people are so nice and it’s super safe and there’s so much to do outside year round! as someone who moved from california to idaho, i can definitely say it’s such a great change!
I always wanted to meet you before you moved out of California, but I am so excited for you and Marcus! 🤍🤍🤍
Im a Texan and I love my state but if your moving out of LA because of the environment then I would warn you about moving to Austin. Its basically a mini LA and has been getting worse over the past couple of years. Its beautiful... but very comparable to LA
Yep. I’m a Texan. I can attest
@@clairewilson6594 yikes. Which cities in Texas are not like Cali? Lol
@@merci1632 honestly, every city kinda has bad vibes in every state unless they’re really small. Personally San Antonio is my favorite. But I love in outer Houston & love it most of the time. Austin is beautiful but too extreme. Somewhere between San Antonio & Austin is great if you wanna be outside the city but still get the luxuries of outdoors!
@@merci1632 Mostly the major cities- Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio is getting there... Im from San Antonio its not too bad but definitely the smaller cities\towns in the hill country is where Im looking to move. Austin is fun to visit but I would never live there
This is all I’ve heard from my coworker who grew up in Austin!! She’s in her 50’s and said it’s just an insane awfully crowded area.
Wow! I can't believe how fast u r planning this. The only part that saddens me is that u r leaving Lexy and Cody while they r having this great journey in their lives. They r going to miss u terribly. I can see u having a hobby farm. 😊
I'm so beyond happy right now. I can't believe you're pregnant!!! Seeing that announcement today made my day so much brighter and I'm so incredibly happy and excited for you and Marcus!! You both deserve the absolute best and I'm so excited for your baby angel!! My heart is bursting with happiness! God is good 💕
I’m here after the pregnancy announcement on instagram and I noticed her out of breathe but I didn’t believe it was that she’s pregnant, omg 😍
Also I don’t mean to be rude but when she tries on the dresses you can kinda see her bump 🥺
Yess, I saw that too!
Kristin you have so many sneakers you could make a "these are my ladies" Tiktok using them hahahahaha
That would be legendaryyyy
What?
I was born in Florida and have lived in Tennessee, Kentucky, and now North Carolina for the past 10 years. Tennessee is great with healthcare and is a very relaxed state so you guys would love it on the west side , east side is kinda meh.
I love the Carolinas so much and NC has everything , mountains with waterfalls and rock climbing and clean cities and clean beaches with wild horses. I hope you find your perfect spot wherever you guys choose to move 😊💙
middle tennessee > east or west
We would love to have y’all in Tennessee 💛 praying for God to lead you to the perfect place, no matter where it is!
Everyone here to see the little bump now. Congrats you two! SUCH HAPPY NEWS! ✨
I'm going to miss this house 😭 so warm so many memories there 😭 i feel like it's your signature house, wish you all the best guys, be happy and be stay safe 🙏🏼❤
I am going through a HUGE transition period too. This really brings me a lot of peace. Thank you so so soo much for sharing. ILY.
Came back here after the pregnancy announcement to check if I can see the cute little bump 😂😍
In the past year I have moved about 3 times and wow I understand how emotional it can be... I’m praying for you guys!
OMG CONGRATS YOU GUYS!!!! SO HAPPY AND EXCITED FOR YA’LL 😭😭🥰🤎 You and Lexy are both pregnant ahhh
I’ve been following you since you first got engaged! Ahhhh so excited for the little babes. You will be the BEST MOTHER!!!!! ♥️♥️
I feel like everyone is moving out of L.A.
They all have a mind and know they need to get out
Because CA is a shit hole now lol
I wouldn’t want to live in a communist state either
Because all these TH-camrs that moved here realized during the pandemic that they don’t need to be in LA to make it big.
Why? What is going on?
Rewatching this crying that she’s pregnant 🥺❤️❤️
So excited for you! My only advice would be to see all of the choices and options as blessings because most people don’t have a choice to build a house, buy land...etc. I understand it is hard to be in a time of transition, my husband and I are moving this year also and I just have to remind myself that we are blessed and just to enjoy the ride and know that God will lead us to where we need to be.
Would love to see the professional pictures taken of your house! Such a beautiful place
pls pls pls consider doing more mukbangs on your channel!! even if that’s just the sole purpose of the video. loved that portion! 🥺
Tennessee you get your best bang for your buck! I live there and I love it! Plus the bugs are bigger in Texas and that was a deal breaker for me!
Hi! are apartments or rental homes cheaper there too? My boyfriend and I are thinking of moving out of Florida and TN right now is our #1
And any specific cities you recommend?
Noddles Worship thank you!!!!
Never been to Texas but my bf has been talking about moving and visiting but the point you said bugs are bigger that’s a huge no for me!!!😭😭
Gabriella Del Castillo LMAO RIGHT bigger bugs = no thanks! 😂
I’m 17 and from Austin and I have lived here my whole life and childhood and I think you would love it here!! It’s a great place to raise a family and the suburbs around are very great with good school systems and lots to do! The food is great, music is great, and the people are super friendly in Texas!
Her videos are always so amazing and they make me want to be productive
I had the same injury to my right hip a year ago from a 4wheeler accident and it takes a long time for the strength and confidence in that joint to come back. You have to work on it slowly, don;t push it too hard but work on it each day and you will feel it get stronger. My doctors recommended a bike or eliptical since the impact of a treadmill can cause irritation. Hope this helps.
Unfortunately so many small businesses have been forced to close down... So many livelihoods lost😔
I grew up my first part of my life in Orange County California and my family drove 4 days across country to Indiana and we have been here ever since! I love your videos and wish you and Marcus the best wherever y’all end up! I can’t wait to see where the lord takes you
I love how sweet Kristin is on the entire vlog! So so stoked to follow along your moving journey! I’m sure God will shine a light on the perfect place for your guys’ family 💛✨
I can’t imagine how difficult it is for you and Marcus to be moving out of your home.
@Jess Davies Yes! I am so excited for them🎉😭💓
Whenever we sell things online, we always meet in a public space just to be safe!:)
ITS TENNESSEE FOR ME🤍 We live about 45 minutes outside of nashville and it’s absolutely perfect. Austin is becoming another LA I personally feel like. But just trust God and his timing! Love you guyssss.
Come to Tennessee!! We’d love to have to here. But definitely do what God wants. Don’t feel pressured into anything.
How crazy cool would it be if Jaci and Leif bought your house! A full circle moment there for sure!
This was such a chill vlog I really liked it.
I have a few vlogs documenting my
Move from MA to Nashville!

Jesus would have worn a mask
@@makenziewalthers8920 😘
Ew, go away. Don’t stain them with your craziness
Omg watching honey and you at the end is so sweet 🥺 she knows you’re gonna be a mama 💕
I totally get how you’re feeling about moving out of LA. I just moved from a very big city to a smaller one that suits my pace of life and I’m so happy. But it’s sad to leave friends, family and memories behind. Take it day by day and let yourself feel all those emotions that come with a transitional period ❤️
This is such sweet advice! 💗
I could not relate to how you’re feeling about moving more...I am also about to make a big move in the next month and all of the unknowns are really scary. I’ve been praying a lot about the pros and cons of everything and just looking for clarity. 2021 will be a huge change for sure. Love your videos ❤️
How do you guys feel about moving now that Cody and Lexy are having a little one in LA?
Just came here to comment the same thing 🥺
Seeing as they are best friends/sils the family already know about the pregnancy and I’m pretty sure lexy and Cody have been considering moving too
They are moving too 👍🏼
Yvette Garcia I agree
I agree it is the WORST house chore. I hate cleaning the stove top 😂😅
My husband and I live in East Tennessee, and we love it!! We’d be lucky to get you guys 😉😘
Hoping you are moving to Austin! I think you and Marcus and the pups would love it here ☺️
Kristin, I remember your older videos and when you mention Marcus and how he isn’t the best with change. I also feel your nervous energy about moving and understand it, because I have moved a great distance in my life as well and always had the moving jitters... But I hope Marcus and your nerves will be at peace during this move, I have a strong feeling you guys will end up in Tennessee... I can imagine you setting up a little shop to sell your kristinmade items and decor and Marcus flipping items and adding them to your little shop! So excited for this journey for you guys! wish you guys the best 🥰
I’ve lived in Tennessee my whole life!! I LOVE it here. Definitely recommend it! ❤️❤️
I’m moving to Chattanooga soon I’d love to hear things you love about Tennessee
@@CowleyFamily318 ooh, my brother lived there for a while!! There’s lots of pretty places and neat things to do and see around there! Tennessee has such beautiful mountains, pretty big cities, and perfect rural farm land too. West TN is more of the farm, rural, flat land. Middle TN has pretty cities and lots of rolling hills. East TN has breathtaking, gorgeous mountains. The state is beautiful in each area. There’s lots to do in Memphis, Nashville, Chatt, Knoxville, Gatlinburg, etc.
I love that you guys are moving out of LA!!! We are moving to TN within the next two months (moving from Seattle) and we are SO excited! I love that people are moving where they will be more happy!! Wishing you guys all the best❤️❤️❤️
anyone else super excited but also worried how Kristin is gonna handle everything after having the baby ? with moving, kristin made, camper and honey & putting out content for us weekly - i just feel like it might be a bit hard! ofc marcus will be there but being a mom is no joke- regardless of it - Kristin you are MORE than welcome to take a break for a month or 2 ( or more!!) when you have sweet baby!!! we love you and we cant wait for you to be a mom!! you are going to be the BEST EVER !!! :)love YOU (& baby ) xx
Hey Kristin! You guys should check out Chattanooga, TN. My family moved here a few years ago after living in California almost all of my life. I love it!! The slower pace of life you mentioned is true for here/the South. There’s a ton of outdoor activities if you and Marcus are interested in hiking...lots of waterfalls/natural pools not too far way. Also there’s so many churches and a large Christian community here. Downtown is super cute and fun as well. Tons of restaurants (that are open!). Also, Nashville is only 2 hours away if you wanna visit when you feel like it but not necessarily live there...I’m excited to see what’s next for y’all!
YOU DO NOT LOOK PREGNANT IN THIS OMG CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
I came after the announcement too😂
@@shubhangisingh7595 I’m literally so shook
At 20:40 you can see the bump
So excited to see where this next chapter takes the two of you!
Crazy that you and Jaci are both going through a similar moving situation! I’ll be praying for you both during these times. 🥰💛
i love these long videos! praying for a peaceful transition and move ♥️
Can’t relate to giving one dog attention and the other dog not climbing all over me 😂 Camper and Honey are such angels 😇😇
I'm so happy for you Kristin! Change is scary, but if you don't take risks, you'll never know! This year is going to be a big year for me too, lots of changes coming, I'm nervous but most of all excited! I've learnt to embrace change and uncertainty and encourage everyone to do the same 💛
