Watched the movie yesterday (and again today)...it's _absolutely_ a future cult classic. *I love how the opening scene gives away who the killer is. At least very obvious on the second viewing.

I just got this figure in and I love him. I've been waiting for the movie to be made ever since the old grindhouse trailer and it didn't disappoint (though I was expecting it to be more of a campy horror comedy instead of a legit slasher). and I always laugh at the face behind the mask, it looks like that face you make when you flush the toilet after a huge dump and the water starts rising.
LMAO 🤣 that's a great description. As for the figure it's definitely a solid release, I'd say tops of the year for sure. The film I really enjoyed, wasn't sure how they would transition into a full film but Eli pulled it off. Gave me the old school slasher vibes where you sympathize with the killer due to the people being crappy. 🤣👍 Thanks again for watching and for the feedback! Definitely glad you enjoyed the figure!

The only downsides I can tell is you can't see the eyes through the mask, which were very noticeable in the movie, and it not coming with the pitchfork. At least you can get that from the part 3 ultimate Jason.
Sorry for the delayed response. Very true, although NECA basically reused the head sculpt from the minor figure so the eyes look surprised under the mask. So I think that would look way off lol and that's right they didn't include it but as you mentioned you can always reuse the Jason 3 pitchfork. Which I think that was also NECA's thought process, but who knows. Definitely happy with the accessories the figure came with though. Thanks again for watching and for the feedback!

What used to be in abundance is now 70% gone, where 9 out of 10 releases never make it there.

I've had this preordered since November. According to the site, they're not shipping until May. If they're shipping early, I probably won't get mine for a while because I made the mistake of preordering their other Thanksgiving items along with it, and NECA won't ship your preorder until all items in your order are in stock. Guess I've only got myself to blame for that.
What's interesting is I got an email from NECA saying this figure would ship in March, but then I got an email stating it shipped, and sure enough it showed up.
