Thank you very much for your honest words. It is good to know that even with these great shows you can get problems but even better is that Lundhags is offering such an excellent service. I will get my Lundhags Vandra II in a few days and I will use them here in the Pyrenees. I also have some Lowa Tibet LL without Gore Tex and I'm quite happy but I expect the Lundhags to be more robust and reliable. Let's see. I will check your channel from now on regularly to see how these shoes and your feet will perform in the future. All the best.
Thank you🙏 I will soon get back to them 👌 Vandra 2 is good boot. Lightweight, simple and easy to be fixed if needed. Break in period might be long. My Jaure's didn't need that much walk but my Forest 2, which is similar to Vandra, took 300-400km break in to be comfortable
thankyou so much, these are amongst THE MOST practical reviews ive ever seen upon you tube very helpful honest open and real facts of whats needed to know,, it makes a change having reviews from someone that is not singing for their dinner and bending the truth.... Ive now susbscribed
Thank you for watching👋 Yes I rather review things that I have bought myself and ones I dont have any "business" with. I will get back to these shoes maybe next summer. Lets see how they hold 👌
@@KontionJukka i have decided they are too long and heavy for me i also am just checking to see if they do a less bigger looking boot that is single layer so that i can just tip the water out, but i truly want a high boot for water above the ankle.. kenetrek are to hard to get to the uk, and also crispi difficult too, i think i shall look at lowa and hanwag high boots as i think this brand are too large
@@temujinadonijah6365 Lundhags models Forest and Vandra are single layer boots. Quite long shaft and lightweigth. I have those Forest boots and they are very good boots, little too narrow for my feet thou

Really good video!! I have the Lundhags Professional High 2. They are just over two years and finally start to like them:). They have been tough to break in. Used to have two pair of Lundhags Alaska and they were not that tough to break in. Besides that when switching from original shoe laces to the leather ones it was a great improvement. The original is harder to get tight enough but the the leather ones are a bit easier to pull hard enough and they then flex somewhat. So far I have not had any issues with quality. They feel really sturdy. I do not regret buying them.
Thanks👋 These ones were quite easy to break in. My other boots, Lundhags Forest 2 took about 500km to break in. About quality: I think it is very good. Almost 1000km walked and boots are still like new. Few years back I had leather barefoot shoes(Feelmax Kuuva 5) and after 1000km, they were dead.
Yeah, Lundhags used to be very good. My first pair lasted for 10 years including 7 of them in the Army. But that was back in the nineties. The Professional with its 3-layers I was not sure… I guess I have like 500 km in them and as you say now they are broken in fairly well.
@@Hans_Strandberg my Lundhags Forest boots are now in Sweden. They feel bit narrow at the toe box area. I contacted Lundhags and they said that they can "block" them, i think they stretch them a bit. I like those Forest boots a lot. They are very lightweight. Jaure 2 is very good when backpack gets heavy
@@KontionJukka Kiitos tiedosta. Omista kengistä alkanut irtoamaan pieniä paloja tuosta kumiosan kärkilapusta. Odottelen Lundhagsilta vastausta, oletan että tämän hintaisten kenkien tulisi kestää käyttöä.
Pitäisi kyllä kestää käyttöä näillä hinnoilla. Lundhags Professional-mallissa on käsittääkseni korjaamaton suunnitteluvirhe.

Oletko käsitellyt kumiosan jollain vai onko lundhags vaihtanut materiaalia? Omissa alkuvuodesta hankituissa on karhea mattapintainen tuo kumiosa.
En ole käsitellyt, Lundhagsin mukaan kumiosa on huoltovapaa. Aikaisemmissa Jaureissa kumiosa oli juurikin karhea, näissä uusissa sileä
