Just... wow... I'm a Filipina (born in the U.S.), and haven't been back to the motherland since I was 9 years old. After 17 years, I'm finally making a trip back to visit with family. This video not only got me excited, but it deeply moved me somehow.

This is the ONLY video about the Philippines that I hit like, out of the countless beautiful videos on here. Why? Because it captures everything, the forest, the hills, the mountains, trees, rice fields, rivers, beaches, islands, sunsets, sunrises, the reds, blues, browns, greens, oranges, the people, houses with metal sheets. EVERYTHING. It's videos like this that caused the creation of the drone! Music was great too! Kudos!

yes it has a lot of beautiful places in the philippines ,maybe because its an archipelago that has a lot of things to see.if you really want an adventure go to the philippines they have it all ,from volcanoes,mountains,lakes,beautiful beaches,falls .they have it all. hope i can visit other places in the philippines in the near future.

I grew up in Iloilo. Never been to places other than my island and Manila. Many thanks for opening our eyes to the abundant natural beauty that God made our islands. We tend to get out find jobs in other countries but with your film it opened my eyes and many of us to appreciate our islands. I lived in the mountains of Panay. I used to sit down outside our fence to study for my finals. Overlooking the green ricefields and the river sandwich in between the mountains...It was a peaceful sight. My brothers and sister don't even want to go back home. They like the city but I always go home on a weekend to spend time with my parents. I was thinking in my mind I hope someday somebody will see the peace and beauty that I see in my town...You Did capture it in your film...you're an awesome filmmaker.

Marcin Zabinski Filmmaking hey! 😊 I am off to Vietnam in June and then will go to explore Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines and so I don't really have a clear idea in mind yet, but definitely would love to go to those places that you've been to! and I wish I had a drone too! I am into filming and photography as well but I love details and people more than landscape (probably cause I am not so good at it!). Are you still traveling?

I probably will although I will need to learn how to use it! :) I am in Italy atm but travelling towards Beijing in the midlle of June and then will be travelling around Asia for few months, dunno how long for tbh! Btw I wanted to ask you a quick question about the song you have used in this video. Did you simply purchase it from Google and then used it in your video without any problems with YT or did you message the music producer ? Great work Marcin. Did you intentionally go to the rice terraces when the fields were fallow? They grow two crops in a year and most films capture them when they are in full cultivation in varying shades of green. Here the grey-brown empty terraces stand out in vivid contrast to the surrounding verdant growth. If you go back; may I suggest you film in Batanes? They are the northernmost islands and a bit of hustle to get to but well worth the trip. Subscribed.

Batanes sceneries would also be perfect for this music, cliffs with gentle rolling hills, an old lighthouse, cows grazing. Also music is also perfect if video was shot underwater or under a wave. Also shots of the enchanted river would also be perfect for it
