White Salmon Kayaking - 08/20/23 (1.6 ft.)

A somewhat frustrating day on the river where I never really felt comfortable in the boat. Two early swims killed my confidence. First swim I flipped over onto a rock and was auto ejected from my boat. Second swim I was setting up to try a roll and I suddenly came out of my boat unexpectedly (I'm pretty sure I tensed up and straightened my legs unintentionally).
1.6 ft. on the Husum gauge.

tHANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU corny but once when i was younger * 70 now i would really enjoy a good run - the whole experience , the scenery, the topo, the challenge, the excitement ,the strategies , and the spills the photo work is so good that i once again got to feel that way , that run experience - so much enjoyed this which i can do -no more myself - every life has a different season, and i got one more trip back in time independent of what my body can now do- so thanks for the smile in this old man's hearth
