Ice fishing for Bluegills

My son Chris and I head to a nearby lake to do some ice fishing. We were primarily fishing for bluegiils, crappie or perch, but the bluegills decided to take center stage!
The bite was non existant until we finally found them and then things turned on.

Man Steve, we never catch big Gills like those in these parts. You guys will be eating good tonight ... or whenever .

Positive not on the shanty you see all the people on the ice they can’t see if the bite is on inside lol . You caught a few nice ones I need another bluegill day with grant they sure are good eating
