My fiancé and I are 18 and 19 and we are getting married in September and we get these remarks from people all the time. It is really the couples decision and it’s sad that people say “do you really want to do that?”. They don’t realize that marriage is a blessing from God.

Marriage is a very intense bond, it’s making you into family basically, and it’s important to understand that. If you don’t feel that level of inseparable comfort with your partner, marriage isn’t in your immediate path. My mom’s divorce was something I wish she chose sooner her and my father were awful, but I appreciate she truly tried to make it work. Your take on divorce with understanding why people say you might get divorced (for looking out for you), why it can be very important, why you shouldn’t look down on others for it, but also why this assumption everyone gets divorced is not fair because you view marriage differently.

I understand how you feel. I'm almost 25 and still not married or in a relationship and there are days when I wonder, "When is it my turn?" Especially when I see friends I went to high school with on Facebook and they are married and have kids. I hope I can encourage you. God's timing is perfect. Jeremiah 29:11 says that God knows the plans he has for us. He knows when it's time. It will be worth the wait when you meet your future husband.
Listen kids, I'm old enough to be your grandpa. I'm in my late forties, and I've been married for 18 years to my beautiful wife. By the time I was 18 years old, I had been to five other countries, most states in the US, and competed nationally in Taekwondo. By the time I was 25, I had been to three Olympic Games. I got married at 31. I would've never had those opportunities had I gotten married. When you have kids, it's going to be harder to do a lot of the things I did when I was single. Have you even been out of your own state? Have you ever been out of the country? In this economy, it's going to be next to impossible to do anything life that. I would hold off on having kids. If you can't have kids, that's fine too. My wife and I tried as hard as we could to conceive, and we couldn't afford the $50,000 to adopt. Marriage life is hard, the most difficult thing I have done in my life. You guys are still young. Make sure you choose wisely. You're going to have to live with your decisions.

No phones no Internet in the middle of the woods and it is so funny to me because whenever she loses her phone she can’t go without it like she cries when she can’t find it so it’s funny to me that she wants to live on the grind with her boyfriend when they get older and get married.😂

Back in the early 80’s. I got married. I wish I could have grown old with my late wife but she was a juvenile onset diabetic since 1970. She got called home at age 51 over 13 years ago. Yes she is in Heaven with Jesus. I had a dream/ vision 2-3 days before she passed on where she told me she needed my permission to go with Jesus. She had been on a respirator with 100% staff pneumonia, a coma and stomach tube.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I pray that your wife is resting peacefully now in Heaven and I know that she is watching over you from above. May the loving and healing arms of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit are around you always🙏 ❤️
GOD HATES DIVORCE. It's really only for the unbeliever who leaves a believer (1 Corinthians 7). Marriage is no longer 2, but one, so you will never stop being one. Divorce is selfishness. Forgiveness, Christ, communication, prayer, church, are commands and a blessing. No one who gets divorce is happy about it in the long run. It's wrong. God wants unselfishness, unity (in the Holy Spirit) worship, love God, love one another. Marriage is beautiful 😍 thank the Lord and should be beautiful. It reflects Christ love and faithfulness to His bride, the church, and it is an adventure & glorifying God. We help each other and thank God always. Praise Him❣
