There's so much which will fascinates you, i was at the same place you're right now, I started learning it and the teachings unlike what the haters of this religion tells, i always heard this is the religion of terrorism and stuff, deep inside I always knew that's a hate speech towards the religion and the people however I had researched on it, found the holy Qur'an says : Whoever kills an innocent life is as if he has killed all the mankind, and whoever saves one innocent life it's as he has saved all the mind kind. Many teachings like using of foul language, Showoff, forcing one to accept Islam, hate for any, being rude or unjust with poor , and more has been prohibited strictly, The fact that the religion consider daughters as peace of the family in a world where people were killing their daughters and still do (some illiterates), lowering the gaze for both men and women , actually impressed me . my girlfriend is muslim and im starting Quran school soon. Islam has always made the most sense to me because you work-ship the creator and not the prophets. What I dont like is how strict it is with every little thing you do. And the prayer is strict as well. Like you cant do your own prayer and have your own relationship with god, all prayer is pre written and if you mess up its a sin? I cant seem to get past this.

Don't think islam as strict. Keep in mind that this life is a test, and there always remains some rules for a test. In islam, a Muslim should try to follow these as much as possible. For example, if you went on some very important business meeting and have to eat with Spoon or smth, it's totally fine

It is better to have a plate for each person and fill it according to his needs . This will avoid wastage and maintain hygiene . The remaining leftovers can be reused or given to others safely. It is my personal experience where I have seen loads of food wasted and in the bins. We have to rethink and reset our behaviour before we talk about our beloved Prophet .we have set an example.
It is generally recommended not to consume food that has fallen outside, especially if it has come into contact with surfaces that may be contaminated. This precaution helps minimize the risk of consuming harmful bacteria or contaminants.
This is obvious but the point of the Sunnah here is to emphasize not to waste food and to consume it instead of simply adding more new. Moreover, this further points towards eating etiquettes i.e., being mindful of what you're having and how much of a portion one has in the plate.
Obviously context has to be there: if food falls on your table of course you can eat it as one usually cleans his table, but of course if it falls on the floor you shouldnt eat it. You have to contextualise the quran and hadeeth, and inshallah everything will be much more appliable for you too
completely right, but in our muslim households most of the time as you can see in the video too, we spread a disposable-like sheet down to eat on that we throw after eating and cleaning up, so normally when the food falls out of the plate it lands on the clean surface and it is sunnah to eat it. alhamdulillah and may allah keep guiding us inshallah.

Washing hands before eating is sunnah. On another note, if any food that fell outside the plate or on the floor, it becomes unclean these days therefore let the insects or other animals have it. You don't have to pick it up from the floor and clean it then eat it. Just pick it up and give it to vermins of the earth that Allah has created. Nothing is going to waste this way. Allah made living fairly easy and not too complicated.

Moses and Aaron and their sons used to wash their hands and feet. 32 And when they come into the tabernacle, or when they come near to the altar, they wash; Book of exodus 40: 31-32

It is better to have a plate for each person and fill it according to his needs . This will avoid wastage and maintain hygiene . The remaining leftovers can be reused or given to others safely. It is my personal experience where I have seen loads of food wasted and in the bins. We have to rethink and reset our behaviour before we talk about our beloved Prophet .we have set an example.

It is generally recommended not to consume food that has fallen outside, especially if it has come into contact with surfaces that may be contaminated. This precaution helps minimize the risk of consuming harmful bacteria or contaminants.
This is obvious but the point of the Sunnah here is to emphasize not to waste food and to consume it instead of simply adding more new.
Moreover, this further points towards eating etiquettes i.e., being mindful of what you're having and how much of a portion one has in the plate.
Obviously context has to be there: if food falls on your table of course you can eat it as one usually cleans his table, but of course if it falls on the floor you shouldnt eat it. You have to contextualise the quran and hadeeth, and inshallah everything will be much more appliable for you too
completely right, but in our muslim households most of the time as you can see in the video too, we spread a disposable-like sheet down to eat on that we throw after eating and cleaning up, so normally when the food falls out of the plate it lands on the clean surface and it is sunnah to eat it. alhamdulillah and may allah keep guiding us inshallah.

"أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، - رضى الله عنها - قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَنَامَ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ تَوَضَّأَ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ أَوْ يَشْرَبَ - قَالَتْ - غَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ يَأْكُلُ أَوْ يَشْرَبُ ."
It was narrated from Abu Salamah that 'Aishah said:
"If the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) wanted to sleep while he was Junub, he would perform Wudu', and if he wanted to eat or drink," she said: "he would wash his hands and then eat or drink."

Washing hands before eating is sunnah. On another note, if any food that fell outside the plate or on the floor, it becomes unclean these days therefore let the insects or other animals have it. You don't have to pick it up from the floor and clean it then eat it. Just pick it up and give it to vermins of the earth that Allah has created. Nothing is going to waste this way. Allah made living fairly easy and not too complicated.
What about washing spoon and fork before eating, are these also included?
@@bramricardoz if your utensils are dirty, then u have to clean them before use and then after use. Thats hygiene common sense.

Bro, you need the prophet himself, the messenger of God, to tell you to wash your hands before dinner, and not waste any food? You can’t just think for yourself?
You know Islam never tells you when you shouldn't wash your hands, so you can wash them whenever; you're not waiting on a command to do so. Just like how you stand and sit in church when the priest waves his hand, 'are you even allowed to stand/sit outside of church without someone telling you to do so?'
But in Islam they emphasize you to do it before you eat, far before we knew about germ theory and how to effectively remove germs from your hands to prevent the spread of disease. And I'm guessing you do that before you eat anyways, right?
