Vladomir Zelensky's Moon is in Ashlesha, its also his Atmakaraka. Sanjay Rath pointed out that this was also the case in Nehru's chart. When Ukraine/Russia's Special Operation started Shani was exactly opposite Zelensky's Moon.....any thoughts ? Also. SHani is retrograding to almost the same degree where it was when the Ukraine Operation started, 25 Capricorn, where he will station., opposite Zelensky's Moon, in October/November.
I was born 12 years after him and have very similar chart to him, but I have moon (atmakarka) conjunct ketu in Ashlesha.

By far one of the most informative and enlightening video on Ashlesha Nakshatra. I completely agree with what Eve says about binding & bonding; controlling & constricting energy of Ashlesha. The part where Eve says that many people in this nakshatra like to remain in the background is bang on. As per Nadi Nakshatra rules, Ashlesha activates in the 17th year, 30th year and 41st year. So some event as per Ashlesha theme can happen and the event will be connected to whichever house Cancer sign falls in and also as per the planet residing in Ashlesha (house lordships) or the placement of Mercury...
A phrase from my previous comment - "Undercurrents of what happens externally" - is referring to Saraswati, the under-ground river, not seen to the physical eye, but eternally worshipped and served by all.

Very nicely put,best interpretation of Ashleha nakshatra I have come across.practically applying things into observation by seeing charts of people near and around you is best thing about finding how actually a nakshatra works.I mostly observe this nakshtra being put in a negative way always.But I personally never agreed to that and have been lookin for a better interpretation.This nakshatra on higher side is about devotion,protection,spiritualism,taking in poison and darkness so that others can be OK,so much good.I have experienced lot of darkness thru my life and now I got to know, it's all about my transformation n betterment so that I can uplift others by connecting them through their pain and sufferings. it's empowering,thanks a lot.

dear Eve, this is my first meeting you and i am gratefull to Jyotisha to allow me to hear you speak.This talk is Alchemy Herself, you taking the generally applied negative looks at ashlesha and finding gold of the solution.Worshipping Speach is the solution i felt. The Speach Herself will bless us with knowledge and unite us into One, if we dont bind it with our limits.The mentioning of the Odin (and Bhargava Shukra) giving his one eye to get the treasure of Poetry and you mentioning the native American people, brought my memory to a story of a jumping mouse, which i will quote below. It brings a Thought in me of sacrificing the external vision, ability to measure and comprehend the World through senses and mind as a result of which a Soul gets the Knowledge of Paroksha, "the Poetry". Undercurrents of what happens externally. So, the Jumping Mouse stroty brings its encounter with Great Bull, which is very important for Him in order to get through the obstacle of open field (where predators can kill Him ) and get to the Sacred Mountain.:He was Investigating his New Domain when he Heard very Heavy Breathing. He Quickly Investigated the Sound and Discovered its Source. It was a Great Mound of Hair with Black Horns. It was a Great Buffalo. Jumping Mouse could hardly Believe the Greatness of the Being he Saw Lying there before him. He was so large that Jumping Mouse could have Crawled into One of his Great Horns. "Such a Magnificent Being," Thought Jumping Mouse, and he Crept Closer.
"Hello, my Brother," said the Buffalo. "Thank you for Visiting me."
"Hello Great Being," said Jumping Mouse. "Why are you Lying here?"
"I am Sick and I am Dying" the Buffalo said.
"And my Medicine has Told me that only the Eye of a Mouse can Heal me. But little Brother, there is no such Thing as a Mouse."
Jumping Mouse was Shocked. "One of my Eyes!" he Thought. "One of my Tiny Eyes." He Scurried back into the Stand of Chokecherries. But the breathing came Harder and Slower.
"He will Die." Thought Jumping Mouse. "If I do not Give him my Eye. He is too Great a Being to Let Die."
He Went Back to where the Buffalo Lay and Spoke. "I am a Mouse." he said with a Shaky Voice. "And you, my Brother, are a Great Being. I cannot Let you Die. I have Two Eyes, so you may have One of them."
The minute he Said it, Jumping Mouse's Eye Flew Out of his Head and the Buffalo was Made Whole. The Buffalo jumped to his Feet, Shaking Jumping Mouse's Whole World.
"Thank you, my little Brother," said the Buffalo. "I Know of your Quest for the Sacred Mountains and of your Visit tot he River. You have Given me Life so that I may Give-Away to the People. I will be your Brother Forever. Run under my Belly and I will Take you right to the Foot of the Sacred Mountains, and you need not Fear the Spots. The Eagles cannot See you while you Run under Me. All they will See will be the Back of a Buffalo. I am of the Prairie and I will Fall on you if I Try to Go up the Mountains."
Little Mouse Ran under the Buffalo, Secure and Hidden from the Spots, but with only One Eye it was Frightening. The Buffalo's Great Hooves Shook the Whole World each time he took a Step. finally the Came to a Place and Buffalo Stopped.
"This is Where I must Leave you, little Brother," said the Buffalo.
"Thank you very much," said Jumping Mouse. "But you Know, it was very Frightening Running under you with only One Eye. I was Constantly in Fear of your Great Earth-Shaking Hooves."
"Your Fear was for Nothing," said Buffalo, "For my Way of Walking is the Sun Dance Way, and I Always Know where my Hooves will Fall. I now must Return to the Prairie, my Brother, You can Always Find me there."By the end of the discussion

I have my Atma Karaka in this Nakshatra, it does scare me a bit, as my Atma Karaka is 29 degrees and in the Eighth house.

I have Atmakaraka Mars here, it is also not only Retrograde and Debilitated in Rashi but then also becomes Exalted in the Navamsha chart...I agree, it is a very mysterious position and nakshatra placement to decipher. Just like Ashlesha nakshatra itself

Sun in the Eighth conjunct Mercury in Pushya.
Atma Karaka (also Lord of 12th & 5th house) Mars in the Eighth 29 degrees Gandanta Ashlesha.
Rahu in the third under Dhanishta.
Ketu in the 9th with ascendant Nakshatra Lord Venus under Magha.
And ascendant Poorvashadha
Rashi Lord Jupiter in the Seventh under Mrigasira.
Shani rests on the ascendant retrograde at 23 degrees.
Currently in Mercury Dasha.
I have ashlesha Lagna and I'll be starting Mercury dasha in the middle of my Saturn return next year. It's gonna be an interesting time.

Thank you for such an insightful presentation. Now, my 4L Saturn sits in Ashlesha but is in exchange with 10L Moon? Does this imply that Saturn would function like Moon in Ashlesha? (These Parivartanas/exchanges are quite confusing to be honest!!)

Thanks , very well explane , having Moon in Ashlesha Nak (1) 8th house (cancer- sign ) and aspected by Sun (UtShadha-2)and Mercury (Sravan-2) from 2nd house , Rahu (Rewati-4) and running through Moon MD-Rahu AD , How the coming position of Rahu in Cancer from Sep-17 will effect the native ,do the native will more deeply involve in occults or learning the hidden treasure of Astrology. Now a days I am feeling a very strange change in me and I am spending lot of time on knowing my self , for what purpose I am here ? want to explore every thing .... but a Wonderful Vedio...:)
One thing I observed that if moon is in this nakshatra and in 8th house conjunct ketu close to 2 or 3 degrees.During ketu mahadasha the native experiences deep unexplained spiritual experiences .Any comment Eve

namaste, a great analysis of aslesha ......I could connect very much as I have my moon and ketu in aslesha in 7th house! hypnotic gaze and sensitive to others thoughts what I experience every day, people have told me that when I look at certain times it's as if i reach inside of them !!! am undergoing my moon Dasha and I can safely state from the nervous ,trembling energy in the beginning to a much more stable frame as I edge towards the end.....I definitely feel the shift .....am in moon ketu right now ....this Dasha period has also brought about my very deep interest in astrology.....a whole lot of questions inside in wanting to discover and know myself !!!

pl explain the pictures u have given in the video , also my doubt is that each nakshatra operate in 800 minutes in a day , but we have only 27 nakshatras , can you explain this anomaly and this doubt is lingering for quite long time ,pl help

Maybe they meant 800 minutes per full cycle of the Zodiac per day?
From my own experience I have found most Nakshatras take about 2.5 minutes per pada, so usually about 10 minutes per Nakshatra, some are bigger than others though.
So at 10 minutes per Nakshatra and about 2.5 Nakshatras per Rashi (on average) some Nakshatras spill into multiple Rashis.
I would suppose about 2.5 hours per Rashi.
About 1440 minutes in a day, but this too varies depending on the time of the year and precession.
Yes, I believe 800 minutes would be about average.
no, each nakshatra is 13 degrees and 20 minutes (13x60+20) =800 minutes in each zodiac sign . i was told there are around 80 constellations in the sky ,but sun traverses only our 12 zodiac signs .all are not eqaual and for our convenience ,we made as 30 degrees each and there are so many nakshatras ,near to elliptic path only 27 stars . 13 60 x27 = will come to 360 again . but my doubt still in a calendar month of 27.5days (lunar month) ,how only 27 stars only ,depending on number of days it should be double ,giving the time they take to traverse the moon or sun . pl help
Eva Mam- Does planet like Amatya Karak disposited in Ashlesha Nakshatra cause problem in family life as the ruler of this Nakshatra is Nagas. The family of deity of Nagas is Takasha was destroyed the lineage of Pandavas.
