    After watching your video, I ordered a set for my Rav 4 Trail. Used the company website to determine Kit #. Completed installation. Was surprised to see the bags weren’t the full height of the coil spring, as illustrated on the company website (photo of bag inside a coil). Went back and watched your video again, and can see yours aren’t full height either. You think this is proper fit? Curious.

      I think so. I am actually running them in my Eibach Springs now, so there's even more space. Seems like the bags not allowing the spring to bow/compress as easily when inflated is what prevents the sag with smaller loads, and with heavier loads the coils with compress enough to where the bags are making contact at the top and bottom

    I’m having a way harder time pushing the bags in. I’ve attempted 4 times already. I would love for them to go in that easy. But it’s like trying to put a wooden log in there.

      It is not easy. Are you spraying with soapy water? the soapier the better

      @@eltumbleweed05 Ok, so I couldn't get it into a hot dog shape. Once I put it in the oven for 5 minutes at 160 degrees it became more pliable. I manage to get one in. Once my busted knuckles recover, I'm going for the other one. Yeah, this definitely isn't easy, lol.

    Just bought a 24 RAV4 SE. It is the most terrible ride I have driven. Had 2 previous Toyota and other brand. None like this RAV4, it's so bumpy and loud when driving over rough roads and bumps. Will this Airlift helps it?

    • @eltumbleweed05
      @eltumbleweed05  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Probably not. The SE is the "sport" edition and has different suspension components which are geared more towards performance than comfort. Different shocks might help with the ride, maybe some sound deadening material in the back for the loudness?

    I have 2022 xle rav4 and i want to put this one on stock spring do you think it will be fine?

    • @eltumbleweed05

      I don't think they changed the rear suspension yet on the rav's, so you should be good. You can always cross refrence part numbers if you have any doubts

    Could you tell me what size the mesh you got for the tube is? Also, do you carry an air compressor with you? I’ve been debating getting one since I’m installing the kit this weekend.

      @@eltumbleweed05 I installed the Airlift kit on my RAV4 yesterday. They are really squeaky! Do you have the same problem? If so, do you have any tips to resolve it? If not, I have to assume that it’s because I have aftermarket eibach springs on my vehicle.

    • @kc9fjb
      @kc9fjb ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@eltumbleweed05 Good to hear. I'm on the fence between bags or springs. I rarely need the extra lift in the rear, but when I do, I do. Leaning towards bags due to the infrequency I'll need them, but I know I'd never have to worry about progressive springs leaking.

    • @eltumbleweed05
      @eltumbleweed05  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@kc9fjb I keep them fully inflated all the time. Idk that i would say it "lifts" like springs do, but def makes sag less when loaded down

    • @kc9fjb
      @kc9fjb ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@eltumbleweed05 Right, less sag is the goal, not really "lift". My hitch mounted cargo rack sits pretty low since the hitch itself is already below the bumper.
