Looking back, RJ wasn’t as cringy as I thought he was. Makes sense for a kid to feel awkward about meeting his dad for the first time. It’s not a reunion for him, it’s the first time he’s ever met him
It’s the acting that made it cringy
@@yenh1144he’s a kid its supposed to be like that 🙄
@@ikeke0set625Exactly, if this wasn’t a spin off and if it was like a season 12 or final season, I’m pretty certain his acting would’ve improved as time progressed.
@@yenh1144 Not cringe at all. RJ is a shy kid meeting his biological father for the first time. It's perfectly fine.
I agree, watching again he's not bad at all considering the circumstances.
RJ got to finally meet his father! Something that Hershel Jr will never get to have :(
The greastest ending to the series ❤
The only father who came back ☠️ jk
not kidding@@jeovanniperez3949
Craziest thing is Negan been looking out for him since a lil boy and when he finally felt the regret of killing Glenn. They never mourned Abraham like that, though maybe because Sasha was the last love story to him.
That's one thing this show always brought home to me was if that was a situation and actually happened, that genuinely is what it would be like. It doesn't matter how good of a person's heart is or how smart or strong they are. You can lose anyone at any time in that situation and for me that was always the Ark of the show for me that got me thinking how would I react or what would I do in that situation so in that way I've always found it very realistic and made it home more❤
Everyone hating on the scene low-key but to me my boy Rick needs this frfr
literally no one hating on this scene
@@vasqu3z893 idk ive seen a few hater comments for this ending
@@CDogBeast1992 not necessarily the reuniting part, but how they handled the crm. To me it was alright
I miss carl....
Don’t worry we all do
The best ending for a legend that was shot, return to life in a change world, find his family, survive, fight a war, see there friends die, having a new family and a new wife and kids, and finally changing the CRM was and for all and maybe the only hope for rebuilding the world with the commonwealth.
I cry watching this ending, im glad everything end good for Rick, Judith, RJ, and Michonne.
We will never forget them.
I think is kinda dissapointing... like... they been telling us the CRM was going to be the biggest enemy in the whole twd universe... and got destroyed in only one episode?? For real? I mean... 500 year plan to rebuild the world, the biggest military on the planet, managed to keep Rick Grimes locked in for 8 years and got wiped out in only ONE episode just because "Rick and Michonne together can do anything"? Like it seemed so unreallistic that in one episode they returned to cascadia base and were able to kill Beale, Thorne, the whole CRM army and military, make the civic republic and portland find out about the true evil intentions of the CRM and at the end returning safe and sound to Judith and RJ who were specifically there waiting for them to land? In only one episode. I mean i understand they wanted to give it and end and not make a season 2 or make movies, and give us the happy ending we wanted. But i feel it was at the very least... rushed. Like they made us thought Beale was the biggest menace of the whole universe... and he appeared less than Gareth, and was much easier to kill... then kill Thorne and the whole of the CRM in the same episode... it just seems odd to me, like, we got the ending we wanted, but way too soon, like everything went perfect and as planned for the first time in their lifes... in only one episode, when there were like 3 episodes which their point was Michonne trying to gain back the Rick Grimes she once knew. They spent a whole episode chasing Jadis so in the end she died, but in only one episode they wiped out the whole CRM, saved portland and told everyone the CRM was evil, killed Pearl Thorne, killed Beale, AND returned to their children all in an one hour lapsus?? I would feel like an idiot if i was with the endlings on the world beyond since their whole objective was doing the thing Rick and Michonne did in only ONE episode, and they couldn't do it on an entire season. Like... the world beyond was supposed to teach us about how dangerous the CRM, Jadis and Beale actually were... and they just ended them in one episode, very similar with what game of thrones did to the long night. But anyways, that's only what i believe and u may or not agree with me. Feel free to tell or share your thoughts
@@tomasgetze4330 yeah I understand what you are saying, in World beyond they show almost every single detail of what the CRM was doing against other settlements ( in general all the US), but commander Beale was like the Supreme chancellor of all the civic republic but in the military faction, so in other words, Beale could simply order the military to order a coup or destroy the entire CRM sistem and turn it into a dictatorship( Actually they where in a dictatorship, only that the CRM council wasn't powerfull enough to stop all the generals and others who where loyal to Beale) When Beale die and the others who where loyal to him, the CRM council finally decide to change the ways they where living and finally letting people inside the community and also letting the people to live if they want, in other words free will at last. Also the CRM know can fix the entire mess they creat and finally help other communities, settlements and the last big cities they still left, they even can start rebuilding the university in World beyond and start rebuilding other cities.( Also if a settlement is under attack by a horde or a an enemy group or faction, they will respond like the secret army they are), is possible that there still a group of CRM people that like the old ways better, but I dont think does people will come back to reconstruct the old ways.
About the end, yeah I know it was pretty quick and was a small season, I respect that you don't like the end, but I guess is something. We need to see what will happen with Daryl and Carol and also Maggie and her son, because Negan already took a good place on staying in NY and continue his race as a feared leader with that crazy woman. Last but no least, we need a big episode where all the main survivors from the walking dead, world beyond and fear the walking dead that still alive, come back together and finally conclude the walking dead universe once and for all.

@@tomasgetze4330I Think I’ve Seen You Before In a another Comment Section but i’m not entirely sure, Anyway You BaSaid everything i’ve been saying, Honestly (in my opinion) The first 5 episodes i absolutely loved, #1 First episode still the best tho but ep 6 yeah it had some good parts i liked but over all it really did feel really rushed and everything & the fact that Rick of all people should know if you only have ONE HAND Then continue wearing the Metal CRM Prosthetic instead of leaving it there & going back to your kids like why, you’re definitely gonna need for just anything really & somehow rick was wearing his classic boots even tho in ep 2 rick told Michonne he needs them, In which rick did not take them off back to them CRM because they would recognize that there Rick’s So how did bro have boots back lol… I really wanted it where they kinda reunite but Rick Goes back to CRM to continue trying to change it so that could lead into a Season 2 Where we’d see more of CRM Rick Grimes Which is what i really wanna see to be honest lol
I love Rick's tear at 2:47. He's both immensely sad and happy at the same time. Sad that so many years and memories with his wife and children were stolen from him, but happy that he was able to be with them again. Happy that he made it back with his wife. Happy to see Judith alive and well. Happy that he's meeting his son for the first time.
Rick: "I'm your dad"
RJ: "Wow that's crazy 😐"
Love how RJ is wearing Carls hat
And Judith's got Rick's Colt Python. I was hoping we would see her handing it to him
As she said " they are them"

I would've loved to see them both make it at the end, I'm not that familiar with the comic book but I know how it ends, not sure if the comic has the same approach but because Rick's been the main story the whole show I'm more invested in him as a character bc of everything he's been through and of course his family but even after carl was gone (which was devastating I couldn't believe they did it) I stayed because of Rick because he still had michonne and judith and all the other people that became his family as well, sadly carl / chandler never took over to have more of a leading role/story to make us feel he was eventually taking over (don't get me wrong he definitely grew up so much as a character and loved his arc) I just think they never took that risk
i. am. crying.
I wish they would have filmed everyone's reaction when they saw rick

Judith is supposed to be watching Daryl's dog... he should have been here
Honestly, i can't imagine any other motive to continue Rick's story. The TWD universe may continue forward with the Daryl show and Dead City, but i'll probably not watch them. I've been watching TWD for years, and since Rick's departure from the show, leaving a really large hole that the finale couldn't even scratch, i just wanted his story to be completed and then i would just leave. TOWL did it's job, now i'm official saying goodbye to TWD ❤

@@tomasgetze4330 I think the episodes were ment to be the “movies “ when they first brought up the Rick grimes movies but just made each episode the length of a movie 🤷🏻♂️
@@tomasgetze4330 sometimes things doesnt have to be a final like infinity war.. sometimes one simple move is all that was needed tbh.. let the franchise end man
I love this series overall but was anybody really annoyed when Rick just casually ditched his Metal prosthetic/Fist/Hidden Blade?...for no reason.
1. What amputee ditches their aid/weapon in favour of their little stump before what is potentially a suicide mission against soldiers and the walkers they'll become? That's like choosing a frail stick over a solid aluminium bat or emptying the mag from your gun before a shootout.
2. While already suspicious. Thorne only truly acted on said suspicions when she noticed Rick's discarded prosthetic. A symbolic middle finger? I thought it was a silly way to push the plot forward.
3. I hope it was in his bag when returned to his family or is he going to ask Aaron if he has a spare? haha.
Loved it overall though.
Nope not annoyed at all. He didn’t want any part of the CRM anymore.
@@sydcharlotte True, but I would've at least kept it until after the fighting was done, not ditched before the fighting starts lol
As stated above, he left everything back that had to do with the CRM. They have a deleted scene where Ric has his comic prosthetic hand they just didn't air it.
@flacagonzales Yeah, I get him leaving everything behind 👍 like I stated above. Would've made more sense to ditch it after the final fight. Not before when you're about to go up against soldiers/walkers. Why fight with one hand when you can fight with two. One hand being a cool, sturdy metal fist garnished with a fine sharp blade haha. I get your point, though ☺️👍

So is there not going to be Daryl and Rick reunite?
Probably not in a while. Daryl is still in France and they already confirmed third season
Judith would really not go to Rick first? Come on thats bs.

What about Alexandria? That place has been torn by pieces by the walkers, the saviors, the whispers, and the weather (flood, heavy rain, tornado, etc)
Let that place go they have a new home the commonwealth.

They probably didn't have the set for Alexandria anymore which is why they filmed this in an open field. I like to think it's the same field 8 years ago when Rick, Michonne and a young Judith were watching birds.

Am i the only who didn't enjoy the ending? Judith's reaction of seeing her father after almost 8 years didn't have that much energy
Same thing 🙌
Well, she was like 2 or 4 years old when she last saw him. His children don't really know him and they only know the brave man.
It felt appropriate considering they didn't really know each other. All she had were memories and stories.
The ending was fit based on when Judith last saw Rick. They had more excitement for the parent they did know. If we get the privilege of another season, then they can expand on his relationship with his kids. Even Rick and Michonne had to reconnect before they got back on track.
She was crying dude
Bullshit scene really
Judith would have gotten everybody to come meet Rick again

honestly the whole series was awsome and i loved but , i didnt really like the ending
They have been building up on crm since the first epsiode with the rick seeing their helicopter and then again next seasons and they even came in ftwd too and also world beyond , they have been introduced as such a big threat and they have shown that in the series as well but like the whole thing being over by rick and michonne bombing the site full of the soldiers and then somehow they got the republic to beilieve in them and suprisingly not judge them for what they have done and then these both suddnly taking the leadership , all this just felt like all the build up to this point was just for nothing , they couldve just had them in this series alone and the already dragged 2 episodes(4 and 5) and if they didnt we coudlve had more political and military action stuff , and what happened to gabriel , they brought him , used him and then just left him and over , and there wasnt reall much emotion for the reunite scene , michonne truly brought the best emotion there but there were no tears no full on emotional moment seen in rick and judiths face , judith was just liek "yo u finally came back..nice :)" , thats just my view on it , pls tell what u guys felt
I felt exactly the same thing, no reaction at the end, the episode was too fast for me since the death of Beale: 20 mins more could have be the best decision …
Remember Season 5 when Rick and Carol reunited with Judith after terminus? I was expecting that kind of emotion, they should've looked back on great episodes with performance and upped the bar from there

Just one more episode could have made the entire thing 100% better
RJ's acting made the scene unwatchable for me. Saw one comment say he should still be in school plays and that I totally agree with. How he's replaced Carl is actually beyond me
Say whatever you want about Fears ending at least the Madison and Alicia reunion was miles better and so emotional 😭 this was anticlimactic and lame
Judith was a toddler and RJ wasn't born when Rick left. He's a stranger to them even though they know who he is. The reactions were very realistic
