I have this exact same accessory! I love it. I have a Samsung phone so I also bought a shinjimoru magnetic ring and stuck it to my case. Works perfectly!

Very nice coverage of this item. I have been looking at picking this up, as it seems to be just what I want, but I am hoping you can answer a few questions for me. Is the magnetic ring covered in a plastic or other material? Also, have you tried using it on a naked iPhone? I have been using my iPhone 15 Pro without a case, and thought this would be a great way to reduce the chance of dropping it. I am concerned about it causing marks or damage to the glass back of the phone. So I am hoping you might be able to give me an idea if that would be a real concern.

Thanks so much for your feedback! There is a very thin layer of a soft material on the back of the ring to help prevent scratches, I would assume. Tbh I have not used it on a naked iPhone much because I’ve found the strength of the magnetic attachment to be a lot better when used with a MagSafe case. So I can’t be certain if it would cause marks or damage to the back of the phone over time.
