Thanks for watching! In general, I’ve found that the bigger the city in Italy, the better the gelato would be. That’s because there will be more competition so only the good gelaterie will survive, whereas in small towns, they may depend more on tourist trades. The best ones are definitely in Rome and Naples, in my opinion. Enjoy your time in Spello! It’s a magnificent place.
@@KenTravels360 thanks for the response. Makes sense. What was the name of the one in Naples? I may go down there on the fast train from Rome since it’s only an hour! Thanks!
The gelateria in Naples is called Manella, and they've got the BEST gelato in the whole of Italy, having sampled hundreds of them all over Italy. The fried pizza in Naples is amazing too. Check out this video to find out more: th-cam.com/video/k9KsDiQOdWw/w-d-xo.html

Hi Ken
Always good to see a new post from you. Love Italy like you… the Italians have so much style. David
Thanks David! Glad you enjoyed this. Italy is truly a place where style and culture shine through every corner!
Great video. I’ve been to Assisi and loved it. I’m using Spello as my home base! How did the gelato compare with the ones in Rome?😊
