- An easy to make, low cost clothes line to suit the underside of a caravan awning. Need the following. - Drill and drill bit. Piece of PVC pipe approx. 32mm diameter or similar and some plastic clothes line. Cut 2 lengths of PVC pipe the same length approx. 280mm or similar - drill a hole about 50mm in from each end through the PVC pipe to suit the diameter of the clothes line - Measure the length of line needed to suit your awning and thread the line through one pipe then through the other and tie off to length needed.

It’s quick and easy. Cheers!
Thanks for sharing Sep, simple, effective, and low cost.
Great idea, great video.😊
Thanks Ken. Cheers!
Just bought the line at Bunnings will build for next trip, thanks for another great tip
Great, glad it helped. Cheers!
Simple solution mate 👍 , something we need as our awning is too low to put a permanent line up like the others suggest because the steel line will stop the door from opening . Thank for the handy tip
I have seen the permanent ones but I prefer the one I made, it has two rows instead of one. Appreciate your comment. Cheers!
They are very handy to have - I think I paid about $35 for mine from a couple that were selling them online.
I didn’t realise you can buy them on line. Cheers!
