Thanks for your video it definitely provided a real world overview before I put mine together today. The included instructions are more confusing then helpful. FYI your front valance bar is installed backwards, that's why your valance angles up before it hangs down. Also the wall brackets have two parallel ridges on the top hole where the awning metal bar nut goes, if those are positioned on top, then you don't need a wrench to hold the nut while you tighten the securing bolt. Josh, this is an amazing video and helped me a lot to install my awning. Do you have any instructions on how to do the adjustments to the motor (open and close states)
You mentioned needing to do more adjustments to make it fully extend out. Why was that necessary and was it accomplished? Would have been nice to see it fully functional.

I think it will blow off in the wind. There should be a fully automated awning that senses light rain and wind and automatically extends or retracts.
