I had a project to give a scada pc to an exsisting HMI so my alarm text is mentioned as below OPR / EQPT / STEP CIP / WATER FILLING OPR / EQPT / STEP CIP / PRE RINSE based on our selection we can change the equipment no and step no it will gererate an alarm so now i have created an internal tag bt not able to enter this tag epression based on this changes we can get diff alarm in a single stroke . is there a way to do?
Hi if you changed the time and date of your cpu does this affecte on alarmes ,i did apply a time and date on cpu ,before applying there was a lot of alarmes and know the are few and sometimes they are gone
I don't think it will affect but if some alarms are configured for local date and time it may please check with the alarm logics in PLC and SCADA alarms list.
Hi Emad, presently I am working with basic configurations the topic's u are asking are quite advanced network concept is also possible with multi user configuration whenever we create a project or converting the same project to multi user by changing project properties.
hello sir i am working on wincc 7.5 sp1 , i have already used 12 archieve for data logging it's working but after that i create new one archieve but it's not logging data in user archieve , i have used communication type in user archieve is data manager tag, is therer limitation for archieve tag , can you give me solution for this.
There's an option when right click on message blocks in this window called archive configure from there you can select the duration for storing the messages for longtime

What communication type you have used for new archive?
Sir, what about AS messages under Alarm logging ?
it think its used for s7-1200 or s7-1500 configuration need to check with that and update
