Ryan, the research and effort you put into your vlogs is exceptional and very informative. It’s interesting to see how long the high speed rail took to make a profit. And very interesting to see it’s impact today given the Taiwanese government’s persistence in making it a success. As for the Japanese working with the Europeans an “intriguing” combination. The way you handled the train attendant regarding photography was clever and in the end gave us a good overview of their trains and infrastructure 👍
Well, I learn a lot putting these videos together as well. Thanks for your constant support. With regards to that attendant scenario, the reverse has also happened to me in Australia when I get approached by people wanting to speak to me about god. I say NO SPEAK ENGLISH and walk away. 🤣
Hi Ryan to be honest when I first got brought here I thought just another flight reviewer....but after the info you have been giving in the recent videos about historical, safety, cultural and other issues, ive really learnt alot and enjoyed immensely. Thanks for the great videos this past series 😊
I'm glad you're enjoying the videos! It's also a learning process for me as I gather information for the video. Just glad I can share it. Thanks for watching! Cheers.
Hoi, Ryan, super interesting and well done. Been to Taiwan/Taipei, yes. You know, not only interested in plane travel here. Also in train´s. Greetings, Markus
Impressive trip here Ryan what would be needed is directly run the high-speed rail into Taipei Taoyuan. For the European high-speed rail network there's no safety mechanism that will stop the train in an earthquake the Japanese system has one.

I enjoyed this immensely Ryan. I had no knowledge of the high speed trains in Taiwan.
I'm glad you liked it! Taiwan has a fantastic transportation system.

Beautiful station and clean train cars. So impressive💗
I know, right? They really take pride in their train system.

7-Eleven is also a staple of Thailand. I don't know of any country outside the US and Japan that is dependent on it as Thailand is.
Yes! Thailand is another country with these epic convenience marts everywhere. I love their freshly made cheesy sausage toastie!
That’s weird, lots of people film on the HSR, I’ve done it and never had an issue. You got a really bad staff!
