I use striker set without Memento, a Carbine 7 with Preservation and a Dark Winter. Both are on Expertise 20 so it is quite a powerful combination for any situation. Having lots of bonus armor surely helps in close combat though. :)
Nice build video. I'm sure bonus armour peaks out at 200% of whatever your total armour is, so if you have one million on your build you can get up to two million bonus armour on top of that.
Thanks for the build man! Having a ton of fun with it. I swapped the vector with the chameleon and used a fenris vest with obliterate. Seems pretty effective so far.
I had a Strikers build that was pretty good already, but this is better. Nice use of the gearset and the chest talent and as a relative newcomer to the game, this is great learning too. Thanks.
I built this yesterday after seeing this video and your on one again lol. Fuckin awesome build. I already had all versions of the vector but I never used the little vector because the vector that shoots .45 rounds, hits harder. I didn't even look at the RPM's. I had put together a striker/TP build and used the little vector. The damage output was great after the stacks were up and the 3pc TP gives you a lot of bullets. The little vector has 51rds and the EB has almost 80rds. It kills good but I like yours better because of the survivability and the extra damage from the trophies. It's fun either way but I clear out missions faster with your version.
I’m gonna have to try this. I do wonder how a variation of this would perform: Ninja Bike Backpack, Picardos with a skill core, Sokolov chest with obliterate, technician with Artificer and a Chatterbox. You’d loose the regen/bonus armor from Mementos and 10s confirmed kill buff, but you gain weapon dmg to counter via Picardo and Sokolov, and Artificer to heal your shield. Plus you could sub out an armor core for another red. Would be squishier for non shield hits but RoF from striker on a Chatterbox sounds so damn sexy.
I am going to copy this build, but use The Apartment instead of the Vector since it has more ammo and damage, but at the sacrafice of reload speed. I'll see how it goes. Either way, killer build Tux! Love your channel and builds! Thank you!
Gonna have to dust off my striker set to see this through. I have several SMG loadouts and one is based off of intimidate like this. Sokolov chest, Hunters mask, gloves, knees, and holster with Memento. Then run chatterbox and firewall spec for the sheild. That disorient from hunter is clutch sometimes😅

Hey, @TuxedoBandido what about using Unwavering on the SMG to get 300% Weapon handling? Since you're TTK is so high that means your reload would be pretty much immediate and your accuracy and stability would be through the roof for most of an encounter. Increased reload would reduce TTK by a lot, I'd hazard. In any case, #CHILDSPLAY!

I run a really similar build, 4 piece striker (with the chest, 4 blue cores, 3 reds) w/ memento, ceska kneepads and st elmos engine but i felt that dmg was a bit inconsistent, so i was serching for a variation of the build and i really like what you did with this one, ima try it later! Also im only shd lvl 100 and i havent used any of my shd points so that is a factor haha
I will go for a hunter vector build if all you are going for is heroic solo. It provide with higher surviablility high disorient uptime and there no nd to overkill on the rof given vector already has very high rof the difference in ttk in very minimal.
Been in countdown trying to get a Vector. I ended up with a decent mp5. It does 920 and the damage is slightly higher. So it's been working for me. Everything has most definitely been #childsplay
It really looks like #CHILDSPLAY, but what do you think about switching chest to Grupo or Sokolov? I reused for quick testing my old Sokolov from Hunter build and with crit chance mod on mask I got 58% without Ceska.
boils down to mods and if you run the PfE or not like he has on the build and what your other secondary rolls happen to be. Solk can work for raw damage, and grupo is nice to have more CHC; just like that intimidate is *really* strong on the chest, provided you stay close and can keep up bonus armor. if not leaning into that, then oblit is probably your best bet and the distance + bonus armor status is less important overall to the build.
Tux you ever run the DZ, I've been countering the meta alot lately with Ninjabike. One build with Umbra/Pulse Res, another with Strikers/haz pro. Makes quick work of the bots 🙄
I’ve been playing division two for quite a while and never really put this math together :-) so the mix of weapons actually adds to the hit strength as well, right?
I can't find a vector for some reason. So I'm just using emelines guard and busy bee. It has helped a lot! Thanks for this. Does the chest piece matter? I thought about using the striker chest instead for the extra 100% weapon damage instead of the 35% from intimidate talent.
Hey Tuxedo, how are you bro? So, I use a variation of this build... Striker vest, fox prayer knee pads and vector .45 with talent Unwavering. I buff using rock and roll, after that changing to vector .45, the unwavering give me 300% weapon handling... Sorry for my bad english, I'm learning yet.... Hugs from Brazil!
I prefer having obliterate over intimidate since they nerfed intimidate basically making it so that u have to have bonus armor and it stacks up to the bonus damage it gives rather then before where having bonus armor it already gave the extra damage i find it annoying so i run obliterate instead
Everything your saying is spot on but i have a idea you may want to consider that might change your entire DPS why not keep the cores you have and change striker to hunters fury because your play style is close qtr combat it carries more buffs for your smg build minus rate of fire
i switched to smg from AR back when i reached lvl 10 campaign.. pair it with marksman semi auto.. or LmG.. good for close quarter (indoor) combat but turned me into a sweat in PvE 😂.
Since u are using temporary bonus armor, dark winter, wich bonus is temporary aswell, should be your weapon of choice, pushing your dps up to another level
Could you switch from strikers to heartbreaker and use memento/bloodsucker and maybe give up a little potential dps for gaining way more bonus armor potential?
Since the last update, the shield dont work well. I was doing summit on heroic solo with ease. It's really hard now. I have 1.4million armor and with the shield on, i'm shreaded in couple of second out of cover
hell yeaaa!!!. great build tux. i ditched my heartbreaker build for this one love my bonus armour and this build provides all damage and tanky. i have 1 question im confused about what is a good thing wierdly enough xd, so i basicly done same stats copy paste basicly on everything all i needed whas a ceska chest, however i found out that im already sitting at 52% crit chance without that chest and currently running grupo chest and most of my gear is not even maxed out yet on crit damage so here is the kicker how in the world can i have the following 52% crit chance and 128.9% crit damage xd, i know grupo boost my crit damage becaus i dont run ceska chest but i should have lower crit chance right or am i just mising somthing here lol?. i watched video now 20 time's to make sure all other stats are the same well same stats but some of my gear have lower crit damage rolls on it but that dont mather. anywhays im not complaining about it bieng higher ofcourse:P butt i cant find out how this happend and i restarted my game's like 5 time's now becaus im confused where that crit chance is coming from. anywhays love the build and i will max this one out for sure.💪
are you just that lucky on the god rolls or are recalibrating every slot? just recently came back to div 2 so im not sure if you can do each slot or you have to be that lucky.
The 45 has a higher base damage but with the mag sizes, fire rates, base damage and buffs all taken into account the 9mm has a higher sustained damage. Tbf though they'll both drill enemies fast enough to just come down the preference
- Vector Sbr 9 mm 33 Mag Size x 37.139 damage. Doing 1.225.587 for MAG. - Vector Tactical SBR 9mm 19 Mag Size x 42.311 damage. Doing 803.909 for MAG. Thats the kit of the question. Sorry for my english jejeje

Flank patterns (your approach) is the most important thing to minimizing damage. Stay just out of their line of sight and get the first shot. In other words, i dont let them shoot too much on my shield. Use your bonus armor for the approach so you run faster, pop up shield when you arrive.
they are for optimizing gear. We don't craft them unless we are doing that task. You can reroll 1 attribute using the recalibration station. The other stats will need to be optimized if not full and it is a piece worth doing. Those bundles are resource-expensive, so recommended on stuff you plan on using regularly.

Yep, what elyc said. Go into Countdown, once you load in, open the map and hit down. From there you can select what loot you want to target. Your targeted loot selection is shared across Summit and Countdown (you change one, you change the other).

Summit is for farming everything not DZ related cause you pick what you’re looking for and build from there. Also make sure to do the events that give you those red stars. Then you can buy an exotic crate.
Nah, Countdown is the best exotic farm right now. You can get 1 exotic every 2 rounds of Countdown if you’re successful. You take your Countdown Requisition to the Countdown vendor in the social area of the BoO and buy Exotic Caches all day long.

This build is great for enemies that are clumped up. In any situation where they spread out and surround you this build is vulnerable.

what about police M4 and Vector ? Isn't this build the same as fury/striker build with ninja backpack? I use 3 piece fury and two piece striker.

Yep, what elyc said. Go into Countdown, once you load in, open the map and hit down. From there you can select what loot you want to target. Your targeted loot selection is shared across Summit and Countdown (you change one, you change the other).

Anywhere smg are set as targeted loot. Or go to countdown and set loot to smg
When you don't have Momento and more than half the good builds use it. I'm thinking about going back to D1

new to the channel...I've beaten the new york expansion..I still dont have an exotic weapon? what the ef must i do to get an exotic weapon ? anyone? Bueller?
You should be getting one soon. Farm assault rifle area on the map
Summit is for farming everything not DZ related cause you pick what you’re looking for and build from there. Also make sure to do the events that give you those red stars. Then you can buy an exotic crate.
Weekly summit project rewards an exotic cache also
Nah, Countdown is the best exotic farm right now. You can get 1 exotic every 2 rounds of Countdown if you’re successful. You take your Countdown Requisition to the Countdown vendor in the social area of the BoO and buy Exotic Caches all day long.
all that, and when you see backpacks in the open world as targeted loot. farm the heck out of it. (control points)
