Slow down mate its not a race. What you should have said is to "press both buttons simultaneously" not "press button A for a second then button B".

is the some weird setting that I am not aware of that would turn this feature off. I have been an iPhone user for years and the screenshot has always been a go-to function that I use every day. But since I received my iPhone 6 plus the other day, the screenshot function has not been working. It just turns my screen off, like I'm only pushing the the sleep/wake button.

you can't press them together. press the power button first, keep it held down, then press the home button about half a second later.

the old mechanism was to press both buttons at the same time (ok, you could sometimes press them at slightly different times and it would still work), whereas on the iphone 6 this doesn't work, it just locks the screen.

RIGHT!? Someone gave me their old iphone but because they'z dumb, they didn't bother taking their info off so I was going to do a factory reset only to find out that the phone needs to be connected to a computer with itunes open [which I'd have to download since I never owned Apple shet] in order to do it since it had a password. It was just like... WHY? It's not like it's adding extra security; just tedium. >_<
_[And yes it was actually their's. Ended up HAVING to go back to them to have them sign into their icloud so I could activate the new sim. >_>]_
