I love the old mk1 lincoln and hr2510 still my go to radios to this day .Weak and strong signals sound fantastic on ssb .I got a george 2 it is my 1st modern day radio it works well but i 100% prefer the mk1 lincoln
This radios are of very good quality and performance. I've got the HR2510 from 1988 and still works great and had many contacts with it around the world. I just dropped the power output from the inside to prolong the life of the finals since it is hard find them anymore. I'll be recapping it as soon as my ordered caps arrive.
Thanks for your comment. The radio is still serviced by myself. New caps, aggressive glue removed, new voltage regulators at CPU Board, cleaned VFO encoder. Ready for the next 20-30 years. 😉
