hey girl. so I have really bad OCD, and they’re mostly sexual thoughts. sometimes it’ll be fear that I’m trans or fear I’m a lesbian or fear that I’m a pedo and it’ll just move from one obsession to the other and it’s literally TERRIFYING. 🥺people would think “oh it’s because you actually want those things” but no this is torment this is torture I’d rather die than think these things. I truly need prayer and deliverance. please pray for me 😭❤️🙏🏽

You don't deserve to be tormented with these thoughts no matter what is happening with you! Remember You were created in LOVE this world and the devil will try to rob the truth from you do not let him steal what is rightfully yours sis! I Love you and really hope you keep speaking the truth over yourself do everything you know deep down you should do for example listening to this repeatedly if yoy need to, try to find a really good scripture remember all these thoughts are complete LIES so reject them and If u have any questions you can talk to me too I am led by the spirit to respond to you I felt it in my heart 💙🦋

Saying just let it go is very insensitive to those who are actually going through it. If it were that easy no one would have ocd. She said in her video that the more she pushed the thoughts away the more they would come back. It's a lot that happens inside the mind. .

I’ve suffered from this, and still am. My thoughts or obsessions will cause anxiety and depression. Sometimes thoughts making me question God, the Bible etc, even when I know they’re lies.
I’ve suffered with them since late 2019 I believe, for some time they “went away,” or went into the background of my thoughts, but they’ve come back recently.
I really need prayer, and deliverance from this, as these thoughts make it hard for me to seek Jesus/ trust him the way I should.

When I was a child, I always used to walk around trees one way, then walk back and go around the other way just to make sure it’s equal. I could not finish reading a page, until the last word and if I said a word twice I read the whole thing twice. It stopped that after being a child tho. Never had problems with it ever after that, until recently, I have been getting blasphemous thoughts and it got me worried a lot. So yeah, same here, but I‘m getting over it.

Hi, so recently my mind has been absolutely restless, and its so exhausting. I feel like I need to know the answer to everything for certain, and if I don't come up with an answer in my head, then I will literally ruminate on it ALL THE TIME until I get an answer. And it's so hard to concentrate on anything or even to just distract myself. It's been about half a year, and it's not improving. It's so tiring, and whenever I talk to my parents about it, they are like, "its not that bad" "just try not to think about it" but I CAN'T, and I don't know what to do. Luckily I'm getting appointments with my school's mental health counselor, and I'm hoping that they will help. I am so sorry for anyone going through this, It's horrendous and it drains a person. Please pray for me, I'm hoping I'll get over this with God's help. If anyone knows why this is happening, please give me advice xx💖

    • @angelatorres0055
      @angelatorres0055  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

I’m sorry that sounds not fun! Yeah that’s a lie that you’re believing! Saying the same prayer over and over is a compulsion so definitely break that. God just wants a loving relationship with you he is not mad at you when you have a bad thought especially if it’s an intrusive thought. He’s mad at whatever is tormenting you because He loves YOU so much! He died for you! Ask one time for God to set you free from that and trust that he will and then don’t stress about your thoughts. The enemy loves attention because the only power he has over us is the attention we give him. So don’t give it attention. Just give God attention. And know that God is love, the source of peace, truth, life, goodness, pure light.
“Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things” Phil. 4:8

Jonathan, If thought rumination affects physical health the visit a physician. Heal yourself from negative thoughts. Your breath is directly related to your mind [brain] causing negative thoughts-anxiety For a relaxed life sit on a chair, back erect, hands on lap with palms upwards, eyes closed, be still and observe your natural incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for around 10-15 minutes or more. Let thoughts come. Slowly negative thoughts will reduce and relax the mind. Whenever you are free during the day or night sit still for a few minutes and observe your breath. Being still reduces negative thoughts. Make it a habit. Do the above meditation regularly to have a good life. Best wishes and prayers. Shyaaam Sir. -Counsellor.

2 years ago, I was getting intrusive thoughts about people in my family and about guys and women. I didn't understand what was going on, I didn't want to do anything to anyone or want to think of those things but they always invaded my mind. I genuinely didnt want to do anything to anyone and i hated the thoughts so much. I moved away from my family and felt horrible and tormented daily.
I called a friend one night and told her that I'm such a horrible person and felt like no one in this world would understand what I'm going through.
I couldn't share with anyone what was going on because it was humiliating.
    I cried so much.
I had a nightmare 4 months ago, and at 4am I went on TH-cam and this was the first video that popped up.
    Glory to God.
I read the comments and realized I wasn't alone.
I finally felt joy for the first time in 2 years.
    I cried.
I wept so much and I am truly grateful.
The enemy has no more power over me for these things anymore, I wasn't afraid of people knowing anymore.
I told a sister in my church I'm close to about it, I told my therapist, and I started to come boldy to God again and asked for help in my time of need. I felt condemned and just like I couldn't move on unless I had things in my life in order.
But Christ paid for ALL sin and is our healer and DELIVERER.
I haven't had the same thoughts since. Sure they come up but I no longer fear, because I know that's the devil and not myself! It isn't as consistent as before at all ! God is doing something in my life and he is faithful and true to those who believe in Jesus. He is still working on me daily. I know He will work on you too!
"Those who call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered" Romans 10:13
"The Lord is close to the broken hearted and contrite in spirit" psalm 34:18
"Anyone who believes in Him shall never be put to shame" Romans 10:11
"The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but I came to give them life and have it more abundantly" john 10:10
Take heart my brother and sister, God will glorify himself in you, if you trust Him. Perfect love cast out all fear! Fear involves torment! (1john 4:18)
"Whenever I am afraid I will trust in you, in God (I will praise His word) in God I will put my trust. I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?" Psalm 56:3-4
"Fear thou not, for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes I will help you, and I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Isaiah 41:10

Ive never heard anyone else describe the "evening out" pressure on body parts before but that's exactly what I had to do and it was also in my elementary years. Like if I knocked my toe on a chair, I HAD to do it to the other toe to "even it out" (you said it perfectly). Just blows my mind cause I never tied it to my intrusive thoughts.

Ca leb, Heal yourself from negative thoughts.

Can someone pray for me because when I try and move forward these intrusive thoughts put me down face first in the mud again and lay an anvil on my back. I want to move forward and do Gods plan for my life but this needs to be delt with, it feels like constant agony everyday as I feel good one moment and then feel like there is darkness in me the next. Help please I need healing or at least something from God that he is trying to teach me something through this struggle which seems like it has gone on my whole life. Thank you so much for this video it was definitely God who placed it here for me to see. I am 20 and I can see what God has planned for me but a wall keeps being placed in front of me and all I can do sometimes is sit in a ball and cry. Then I feel guilty because I know God is greater so why am I sitting here in defeat.

Currently suffering with intrusive thoughts and honestly it’s draining the life out of me, I’d rather be gone than deal with the constant torment. Nevertheless I’m glad many found healing but I’ve called out to god for so many years and nothing. It’s heartbreaking but I guess he is selective. 💔😢

Guys praying that these thoughts will go away will only make things worse and you will have them even more. When you believe in the fact that these are thoughts that are crazy/unacceptable or something you should not think about, your OCD brain will make it more difficult for you to get over them, it will encode these thoughts as threats. I realize that this is how you push yourself through all the bad sides of OCD but recovery isn't about wishing these thoughts were gone but more so about accepting the way anxiety and our brains work. Praying might become a compulsive act and it will ensure that you suffer from this disorder even more. I'm not saying that you shouldn't pray about being happy, by all means do it but praying to never have these thoughts is going to make these thoughts a permanent issue for you. Recovery starts with acceptance and never with rejection. All though it seems impossible, i hope we all can learn how to embrace anxiety and intrusive thoughts one day.

Hey girl! I think it’s really sweet you commented this out of concern for people!! It’s true that praying could become a compulsive act and that’s definitely not the goal!
I want to communicate to you that it’s less about the praying itself and our own efforts, and more about trusting God to care for you and the faith that He really hears you and is a deliverer. That He is good and He is for you not against you.
I am completely set free from OCD and I no longer think or pray about it for myself. That’s a freedom everyone else can experience too. I do reject anxiety and ocd. It is not something that anyone has to live with because of the reality of Jesus Christ. Once you accept the truth of Jesus and His love in your heart you will be set free. The prayer at the end of this video was meant for freedom and victory, not to be one of many ineffective or compulsive prayers. When there’s true and real relationship with Him there’s true love and freedom. Have an amazing day! ❤️

I believe you are both right. I listen to a christian psychologist and he said to know that the thoughts don't define you, but can't fight them. You need to let them flow right out, just like they flow in. That has Been the hardest thing to do, but it does work. Just remember that the thoughts are not you. The harder you fight them the stronger they become. It is scary to even to think you will allow yourself to think something so horrendous but it helps. I'm not saying to entertain the thoughts, but it's like when you see a person coming by you at a public doorway and you courteously open the door so they could just pass and let them go their merry way. Their gone and that's it. It's like the person walked closely past you but doesn't know you and had nothing to do with you and you will probably never see them again. Don't let the thought bring you fear. Remember that the feeling of anxiety that you get when these thoughts come about, show you that you are a good person. It distresses you because you know that the nature of these thoughts are evil. Remember we are good, kind and loving people. We love the Lord and we have so much to give. Prayer is important, but pray about this in your regular prayers. Don't pray every time you get a thought because then it will become part of the OCD. Just let it flow out.

Hey Gaby!☺️ I have some really good news for you and it is that through the power of the Holy Spirit, everything you just said you wish you can have is available to you right now and you don’t have to wait. Jesus tells us that unless we become like a child we cannot enter the kingdom of heaven implying it is absolutely possible and necessary to go back to the innocence and joy of childhood! The power of the cross is that Jesus broke the curse on humanity, allowing you to be in perfect union with your creator, restored to who God created you to be. The only thing you have to do is surrender your life to Jesus and He will make you a new creation in a moment, fully forgiven and redeemed. You don’t have to change yourself to be who you think God wants you to be. He wants you to be you, the real you, the free YOU! He already paid it all for you, showing you how much you are worth to Him and how much He loves you. If you want to love Him back, all you have to do is receive the love He has extended to you. Genuinely say something like “Jesus forgive me. I surrender my life to you, fill me with your Holy Spirit” and He will hear you and respond.

I have OCD and I don't know what else, maybe bipolar and depression, I know I'm emotionally numb for the most part. I feel like I get the urge to do things in the name of demons and idols, and I can't bear it any longer. I've given in willfully several times, and I can never forgive myself. The most common are to try to do divination and to sacrifice things to idols. Please pray for me
