Written by Dave Walker who fronted Danny's post Mac band' Hungry Fighter'. Dave was also frontman for Savoy Brown in the early 70s and the late 80s. He also replaced Ozzy in Black Sabbath in 1977 He also fronted the Red caps and Mistress. He still fronts his own Dave Walker band in the USA and has all his hair! Was also in Fleetwood Mac after Danny left and sings on one track on Penguin. Check him out on these Savoy Brown albums; Street Corner talking, Lions Share, Live in Central Park, Hellbound train, Alive and kicking, Kings of Boogie and Savoy Brown live 70-72(which also has Chris youlden on vocals, whos' album Nowhere City featured a post Mac Danny on some tracks, along with Chris ' I m a womble/I didn't play Steve Jones's guitar parts/motorbikin' Spedding. It also features Dave 'front man of Foghat' on vocals Peverett and finally Jackie ' I did the introduction on Quo Live, and co wrote some songs with Rick Parfitt' Lynton👍🙂👍 Danny also played on 2 albums by Tramp, the first 'Tramp' during his time in Mac and the second 'Put a record on' I believe was just after and also features Mick Fleetwood, who is in a group photo along with a Mostoushed Danny, along with Bob Brunning, first Mac bass player and ex Savoy Brown member, Bob Hall, also ex Savoy Brown, Dave Kelly, Jo Ann Kelly and others. Both Tramp albums were reissued in the early 90s on an Italian label. Savoy Brown/plastic Penny/ UFO keyboardist/guitarist Paul Raymond was also in Hungry Fighter' and played on Danny's first solo album as did Ex Chicken Shack/Savoy Brown bass player Andy Sylvester . Jeff Rich, Francis Rossi's Status Quo 1986 to 2000, plays drums on this track and the rest of midnight in San Juan. John Rhino 'come on Eileen' Edwards who was also in Rossi's lightweight Quo with Rich, played bass for Peter Green in 1980. Small world. NB; Savoy Brown are still touring a NB making albums here in 2020, shame Danny isn't😢but let's enjoy the music he has left for us👍🙂 .Enjoy investigating all of the above👍🙂 Necessary corrections welcomed🙂
Wow! This is very beautiful to see! Never expected to see so many fans express their love for Danny. It's sweet, very sweet. I'm a big fan of the early Fleetwood Mac. As a guitarist I took notice of Peter Green first. But I came to like Danny Kirwans' playing and singing just as much. Also Jeremy Spencer as well. This was a great band and the talent runs deep as I discover with these almost forgotten tracks. As some of the others have posted here. Now that Peter Green sort of made his way back. It would be a great joy to see Danny Kirwan reunited with them and just back again. Cheers to all!

to somepig2k - I have the vinyl album with this track on it, The album is called "Midnight in San Juan" and it's full of similar brilliant music. Searched for a CD myself but it was very expensive (import from Japan) and Amazon says it's now out of stock. Tip: Just copy this and other Danny K tracks and convert them to mp3.

I love this song, and I don't 'collect' Danny Korean solo music. Has a nice Country/Folk atmosphere, it sort of reminds me of Gordon Lightfoot.
