(I have yet to see a video for my shape face.) My face shape is rectangular (and my jawline is straight across). Most videos that show a "rectangular face" do not show a jawline that's straight across. I like wearing my hair in a ponytail, but my daughter (who went to cosmetology school) told me to add some whispy hair on each side of my face to soften the look. I would love to see this in a video. It seems to work for me. People have told me I look a lot younger for my age. Thank you for this video!

You could try tracing your face onto the mirror. Stare straight into a mirror and carefully trace the shape of your face. Use a write on wipe off marker (you can use a sharpie if you have some alcohol to clean it off with) You can sometimes tell just by looking at the shape without your features there to draw the eye. Otherwise if the shape is too close to call, get out a tape measure and compare your hairline to jaw measurement vs your side to side measurement. This is how I figured out that my face is more round than anything else. (My vertical measurement is only 3/4 of an inch longer than my horizontal measurement)
I hope this helps you! P.S. don’t use eyeliner on your mirror, like I did! Took hours to scrub off that waxy stuff!

@@ranuthakurr ok so i have tried making different hairstyles but most of all in every hairstyles i let loose locks of my hair on both side with a middle partition. You can try fremch braids with loose locks. I have tried buns high and low both. Ponytail doesn't look good on me because of low volume of my hair. With buns i use donut for volume

From what I've heard, people with square face shapes tend to have very aligned teeth because our neanderthal ancestors also had wider faces which allowed more space for your teeth. AND! We tend to have really good, strong jawlines like me too! Even though we are insecure about our face shape and it makes us look ""manly"", remember that your face shape does NOT define your beauty and makes you ugly. I still am insecure about my face shape but I am learning to embrace what God gave me because I might not fit into today's beauty standard, but God sees you and I beautiful! Plus, we get perks for having square faces too! So yeah, you are beautiful and do not let social media or people make you think you are ugly. If you know you are beautiful, then you are! I know it. ❤❤
