I remember Caprices were used for cabs in NYC. My uncle owned a Brougham edition. These cars floated down the roughest, most pot-hole ridden streets with just a soft bump felt in the cabin even for the hardest impacts.
I drove a cab in Los Angeles for two years at night during the day I went to trade school. This was my cab best car I ever drove. I am 70 and retired now and drive a BMW X5, I would trade it in on a new Caprice if only I could.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!! 1990 would mark the final year for the highly successful 1977-90 GM "Box" B-bodies, as a swoopy, & not very well received, redesign debuted in the spring of '90 as a 1991 model. All models now had a standard 5.0-liter V8 with throttle-body fuel injection (305-cubic-inch for sedans, 307-cubic inch for wagons) that replaced the previous carbureted version. But the easiest way to distinguish a '90 Caprice from its predecessors is that the '90 models were the only ones which got GM's controversial door-mounted front seat/shoulder belts. A driver's side air bag would replace the door mounted belts for '91.

Beautiful Caprice! I had an '81 two door coupe with a 231 V6. Wasn't a powerful engine but it got great gas mileage and it drove and rode very smoothly.
I have a black 1988 Caprice Brougham with the grey interior and it's stunning purchased it from the original owners son it only has 108k original miles and the a/c is cold. Had it repainted to look crisp and she's a beauty keeping it OG with rally rims with white letter tires 🫶🏾💪🏽💪🏽

Nice Car. Failed AC was common on these cars. I had 2 of them. Both had AC failure. You're looking at a grand minimum for any AC work. Could go to 2 grand depending....... Great color combo. Both of mine had the F41 suspension option. Changed the whole driving experience of these cars. Firmer suspension, 3.08 Posi axle instead of peg leg 2.73 or 2.45, faster steering, better shocks, etc. Somebody is going to get a nice one. How much $$$?

I sold 1988 Caprice that looked just like this one to my parents, one of the best cars ever made. The ‘88 had blue leather interior.😊

You do know that 1986-90 Caprice classic brougham LS used Oldsmobile interior and drivetrain, which May or may not appeal to traditional Chevy buyers, myself I prefer the olds engine.
Only the 86 Caprice brougham got the olds interior (and several other quirks that were one year only headlights dash trim etc). Oldsmobile 307 only available on the wagons which did not have the olds interior. Cadillac brougham from 86-89 got the olds 307 not Caprice unless it was a wagon or some special order unicorn.
