How its being used is the issue far more than the technology itself but he viewed technology as inherently negative no matter what. And yeah he has SOME points about social issues he just came to nothing but the worst possible solutions to all of them. Like someone saying its so sad that we have so many people living in poverty and you're like "yeah fair point man" only for them to follow it up with "and that's why we should kill all the poor people then no one has to live like that". Honestly to me I think most of his good points are after the fact. I think he was just close minded and angy at technology and instead of finding a righteous cause to be angry about he just convinced himself anything he's angry about is automatically a righteous cause.
