Radios For Tanks - Part 1

When it comes time to throw away your Heng Long or Taigen hand controller and get a proper hobby grade radio. Where do you start?? Here are a few things for first time radio buyers to be aware of. Can't cover all things and all radios so this is just my thoughts on the basics of what to look for.

Just bought myself a Radiolink AT9S. It comes with an extra spring and gimbal arm to convert to mode 0. It's a very nice (and fairly affordable) radio. I'm not sure how I'm going to program it to run a track loader though. Probably try to just use helicopter settings...

Good morning, I wanted to ask you how to set the gas of the dx6 for an rc tank, in the sense that, I binded the dx6 with a jgdpanther taigen metal edition, but despite everything works well, the gas only performs the forward gear, and if I push the stik gas all back the tank stops, and it is not possible to reverse, I'm going crazy for 3 weeks.....Thank you very much.
