- Ive been under the weather from a wisdom tooth extraction so I figured id upload a Pit from the epic alley dig. we dug every hole on this entire block. it ended up being the best block of pit I've ever dug. this is one of many videos to come on this block.
You guys are scaring me to death with those iron tools 😯LOL. This is where we get out the wooden "dig stick". Great dig! Fun to watch!

That crock was pre civil war and was from Parkersburg Va before it changed to Wva. A true piece of history for sure! Thank you so much!!

That was some great age in those holes! I know it doesn’t mean much but I’m laid up at the moment due to them fusing 4 of my vertebrae together so I can’t dig at the moment. Thanks to you I can still see some good history being found. I look forward to getting back out there and doing my own digging in a few months. I really appreciate the videos!

I have one of those George W Robinsons with the cork and a small amount of contents still in it. Found it in my basement between the floor joists sittin ontop of the foundation.
They actually smell like winter green if you open them lol

I found a whole finger lamp as well. It was called the little butter cup. I imagine someone walking around at night with it or going to the shitter. It fell off my shelf and broke. Sucks. Had the handle and lip for the brass top
They are really cool! I’d say that’s exactly what happened. They would have thrown away a perfectly good lamp!

I was just watching a certain someone dig a marginal, machine made/barely tooled dump and then I see that you are digging 1870-80s outhouse so I put the dump on pause and immediately watch you pull some kick ass stuff!! I will go back to finish the dump video....sometime.

That pipe bowl is amazing, that type is on my bucket list. That crock is wonky as hell, did it sell like that or could fire cause that?
That’s my third glazed presidential bowl in 10 years of digging. They don’t come out often but when you dig one it’s a rush. Actually found it filling the hole back in. We think the crock was heated at a low temp and caused in the kiln. It sure is crazy looking
