Nothing captures Grace being the genuinely scariest character more than Dirty Dudes Must Die and Bury the Body (but especially her delivery of "Run you little bitch" and "Who will pray for you")
Listen, I know it's off topic but for the "darkness will spare my soul" part - the staging is set up EXACTLY like Let It Out in TGWDLM. Intentionally feels very "this is the moment that we officially lose Grace/Paul to the Lords in Black"

starkid really heard that i’d gotten over my crush on joey and decided to have him play a nerd in love with Mariah, who i also have a crush on lmao. also yes their voices together sound better than i could have imagined.

This musical gave me so much stellar Jon Matteson vocal moments I am so SO SATISFIED. The way his voice is so controlled in the opening number? HOOO MY GOD
For sure! He got the Joey Richter treatment and his voice improved so much!

There's so many underrated actors in Starkid, I agree.
Corey, Jon, Bryce, even Joey are all such good singers and I think this musical is the first time they got solos/their own individual parts. :p
have u seen joey in a very potter senior year? & even trail to oregon he carries the ensemble in that show...i'd check out the songs sidekick & independence..his talent really shows in those
