That is one of my favourite features too! 😀 Also the envelopes. Nice to have modulations on all parameters. 👍🙂 Works well on ambient or atmospheric techno. What is your favourite use of it?
@@TheHorseValse Ohh tanks, i think i forgot to detune the oscilator. Now it sounds very full and nasty. Do you have any tipps for such basslines or nasty industrial lead sound :))
@@simonmarko6171 Nice work 👍 In a track I would saturate the bass line. Adding a touch of white noise, only the top end and cutting some mids or low mids. HPF to leave space for the sub. Using this as a top bass, and make a simple sine wave for the separate sub. Easy in the DAW, but you will need more synths if you want to do it DAWless. Nasty leads are detuned too. Oscillators can play in an interval to thicken it. Added noise helps a bit. Get some bite by using an oscillator, a super-fast LFO, or noise to modulate the pitch slightly. The more you add, the angrier it gets. Or keep 1 oscillator nice, and do it heavily on a second one, till you lose its sense of pitch. Nice combined. 👍🙂
@@TheHorseValse Omg thank you for your fast response and for taking the time to explain me some tricks. I will absolutly try this out later. I got my Kobol yesterday and so far iam very happy. In the first moment i was a little bit confused from the sound but when you understand the process u can get very nice and nasty sounds from it. Thank you very much again. Keep going😊
Wer dieses Gerät nicht selbst einstellen kann dem ist eigentlich nicht zu helfen 😂😂😂trotzdem hört man mal wie es klingen kann wenn man ihn noch nicht gekauft hat 😅
Once someone finished recreating these patches, they will have a deeper understanding of the synth. Also other synths, hopefully. I like to do similar patches on all devices, welcoming newcomers with bread and butter, and iconic or familiar sounds. 👍😄🙂
I was considering doing tutorial videos for all synths, but others have done it so well and the web is flooded. I figured nobody needed more. If you learn one, more or less figured most. Besides, I love the idea of discovering on my own. Maybe others too. 🙂😊😅

I love my expander. being able to transform the waveforms is so cool. Plays nice in my eurorack setup.

This sine lead is so nice!!!
Thank you! 🙏 The oscillators range between aggressive and soft. Not too soft. Kobol has a bite. 🙂
Wow!! Fantastic!! 👏👏👏👏👏🤩🤩
Cheers! Much appreciated! 🙏🙂
Thank you 🌞🦄🙏🙏
You are so welcome. Enjoy! 🙏🙂
How did you get the reese bass sound like that. I tried to rebuilt it but it sounds far not so nice as yours?
Thanks for the reply! You have to detune the oscillators to make it nasty. How does yours sound?

SR: again a software without Linux support... :/
Thank you for your feedback! 🙏 I am sorry to hear that SR is missing out on the Linux frontline. Let me ask if there is a plan for the platform. brb
I am sorry to let you know that there is no Linux version planned.

@@TheHorseValse Yess sorry for the newcomers, it is okay.
No worries at all. 😃 👍
