My wife and I recently spent 5 weeks in Europe for our 30th anniversary in May. Turkey was beautiful and the people were great! We definitely want to go back.
I just finished a two week tour in Turkey, didn't really know what to expect as it was a new place for me but WHAT A COUNTRY. I will be returning in a heart beat. Friendly people, amazing food, cheap for Aussies, rich in culture and history, beautiful landscape and mountains and beaches and I did not feel once that my safety was comprimised but this is not a concern that I even had before going. Its a shame that some people give this country such stereotypes. I will be back for more next year and I can't wait!
I am from Turkey and I think we have one most amazing architectures, beaches and history in the world. Unfortunately people are really uneducated about the country and it’s safety . Thanks for this video. Love from Turkey ❤️❤️❤️😘
One of the perhaps, but Greece and Italy are absolutely one of the most incredible and breathtaking countries in the world, with amazing architectures, the most bluest and incredible beaches, incredibly gorgeous landscapes, and history. Don't get me wrong. I like Turkey a lot! Just the other 2 countries are very hard to beat. They have everything

Actually its depends on the ppl and all the Mediterranean countries mostly same beach quality and if we talk historicly turkey have really good history like roman, ottoman and greek empire was part of the turkey and check göbeklitepe.i think we dont need to talk about food culture for turkey one the of best in the world.Basicly i want to say its not hard to beat just research more.and ofc italy and greece amazing too.
Hi , so glad u enjoyed Kuşadası . I am Irish but I was born in Kuşadası and have been living in Kuşadası for 15 years . I feel wayyyyy more safe here than Dublin. You’re tour guide is 100 percent right with everything he said . Thank u so much for this beautiful vlog . We really appreciate it hope u come back in the future there is so much more to see in Kuşadası
Laura I've been watching your videos for a year now and when i saw this video you've made me incredibly happy with this video and you must come back lots of love from Turkey
I have been to Turkey 8 times from England. I have been to Marmaris 3 times,Side twice and also to Hisaronu in Fethiye, Kusadasi in Izmir and Altinkum in Didim. I have had some amazing times, met some incredible people and never for a second felt unsafe. I would go again without thinking twice.
Two Goddess visit the Ancient remains of turkey! Love the dress shot the color. Really pop out! I really like the way you appreciate food and not wasting it. Great vlog ! Keep it coming! Love you and Megan!
I went to Ephesus and disembarked at Kusadasi, from our cruise ship. Kusadasi was a very clean and modern city. The tour operators were very organized, unlike the tours we took in Greece. A notable part of our experience with the Ephesus tour was the abundance of feral cats amongst the ancient ruins. Our feline companions made the tour more memorable!
So many countries that are "unsafe" to travel to are absolutely stunning. Afghanistan for example, or huge parts of the middle east in general, at least from the viewpoint of a solo female traveller. I wouldn't personally count turkey as unsafe, it's a very popluar tourist destination for europeans :) Stunning video as always, Laura!
@@LauraReidd thank you. You should travel Marmaris, Bodrum, Fethiye and Köyceğiz. Amazing beaches and nature. You can check my instagram account. @o_arslan
Hey Laura !! I am a huge fan. Must say you are my favorite travel influencer of all. I dont miss any of your TH-cam and Instagram content. Your Bali guide are super fun to watch and I must have seen them a ton of times. Love your style as well ! That was super helpful in planning our upcoming SE Asia trip as well. I was so inspired by you that we have started our travel channel. Cant wait for more videos by you from all over the world..
Am I the only one to spot that your earrings match the crescent on the Turkish flag? Nice touch or coincidence? I visited Ephesus (from a cruise ship) in 2014. Mind blowing to think about the civilisations that lived there back in the day, just as we live in our towns and cities.
I visited this place when I went on a Mediterranean cruise 11 years ago. Can't believe it has been so long, but I still remember it so clearly. It was so amazing to be in such an ancient place and to walk the streets that Jesus walked. Great video!
Randomly stumbled upon your channel! Your videos are beautifully put together, they also inspire me to start documenting my travels. Keep up the awesome work Laura!!!
I’m black American and I always wanted to visit Turkey and understanding their culture. I’m curious what they have to offer? Also curious about their food culture? Turkey is definitely in my bucket list but in the meantime, I have 7 more days left to my Dubai vacation destination!! I can’t wait! Thank you for sharing! 👍🏾✨
Turkish and Italian foods are the tops. Watch other travel Turkey food videos to get an idea what you want to eat. Turks migrated from the Altai mountains near China about 1000 years ago. We belong to the Turkic peoples which span most of the ex soviet countries and even Hungary. Many empires including Seljuk then Ottoman Empire. Turks are the nicest people especially to visitors, men are always hot headed. Turks are very patriotic, you'll see Turkish flag any where you look. Some basic information for you from a Turk. Oh yes we drink the most tea in the world, like triple of UK. You get offered tea at random locations and bottled water if its hot. 1 Lira these days is pretty bad about 6 USD so you can do good shopping too.
So awesome tthose old ruins and great camera and editing work. Love the outfits today the redwith the golden necklace stunning, stay safe the pair of you and keep enjoying the eautiful food see yaand thanks
We are heading to Turkey in 10 days, what is the name of the boutique hotel that you ate at and highly recommended? Looks like a nice quiet spot in a Rural area.
Laura... do some packaging tips and bags or luggage you use to travel , are you using backpacks or luggage , because you’re so fashionable while traveling and maybe you could share some tips to not overpacking ☺️🙏
i was there it was sooooooooooooooo hoooot thereeee i was whit my mom and my dad and his cousins the next time ill prepare and there was a cute cat! i want backkk to turkey now im in cold finland!! waaaaaaaaaaaaa!
can you please make a video of the steps someone needs to take to fly outside of the US (someone who has never flown before what to do) also another video for other countries that don’t use the US Dollar System how you would go about getting that money?
It's because the USA has a travel advisory warning people not to come to Turkey. Because they want them to stay in USA and spend all of their money there instead.
I am so done with these ''Is Turkey safe'' videos. I hate this clickbait. I mean wtf, why should it be not safe? This is very humiliating and offensive
I agree comrade but the USA government has issued a travel warning telling Americans not to come here. When I told a few people in USA that I was moving here they were asking me if it was safe. I told them it was safer than USA. And the food is much better too

@ Greeks and Italians have way better food and scenery. The advantage that Turkey has are the cities and it being cheaper than the others.

Ok😍
What do you mean by saying unsafe? What made you think that its like that? Turkey is safer than most of europe citys
It's because the USA has a travel advisory warning people not to come to Turkey. Because they want them to stay in USA and spend all of their money there instead.
What about the Kurdish people and their aspiration
Dear @meaganfaye @ 05:05, you are not supposed to say these things while in Turkey. 😂😂 That is a taboo issue even among guides.
I am so done with these ''Is Turkey safe'' videos. I hate this clickbait. I mean wtf, why should it be not safe? This is very humiliating and offensive
If this video was in 2016 I wouldn't say anything but its 2019. Why dont you make a video like Is France Safe or Is Italy Safe?
