I have a large collection of cartridges, and still use my original Cricut machine. I had heard that I can use or upload my cartridges to the online account only with the Cricut Explore Air 2, is that correct?

You can cut smart materials with an air2. The holder also works on an air2 as well. You’re not limited with using it solely with the 3.
People started doing that with the joy release with their air2. Was beast

Can you use non ismart papers and vinyls and things that are not in ismart things with the cricut explorer 3 with a mat if we need to? I hope that made sense, haha

I still have the original Cricut Explore Air and love it. I'll probably upgrade to the Air 2 at some point, but speed isn't the most important thing to me and mine works great.

I have been trying to decide which machine I wanted to by for over 4 years. Not sure when the Explore 3 came out but that is the machine I went with. I like the fact I can make longer designs with it. Thank you for this video it was of great help.

Will this cut out templates for paper not designed on cricut space. I have templates for pop up cards and need a faster way to cut them from cardstock paper. Could the cricut do this?

I just bought the Explore Air 2 at a great Black Friday price. But I was on TH-cam searching for the differences because I was second guessing myself. Thank You for this video! I do a lot of rolled roses and cardmaking so it’s turns out my decision will work for me! 🥰

Well this video just taught me I bought the wrong vinyl for my Cricut Air 2! LOL - fortunately I just bought it and still have the receipts! This is a great video on the differences and even though I'm just getting my 2 year old Air 2 out of the box now, looks like that's still the better option for me.

The “Print then Cut” feature you mentioned doesn’t make sense and you haven’t really explained it further….why can’t the Explorer Air 2 not cut coloured paper? What’s the difference between coloured and white paper?

  • @Alex-dj9qj

Do they still have the weird subscription model that was heard of in early 2021? Because that keeps me from buying it if I'm limited to only a few designs per month. Great video though, it's very insightful!

I believe around 6 min mark she said you can. You can just connect with a cord. Maybe a USB. Probably just call their customer service.
