Nice demo. However you old motor was working. What if the old one like mine, is dead when glass is fully up. How do I get to those bolts if electrically I can't bring the glass down? 4:55
Thank you so much. I did the front and back door, watching your videos. Easy pezy for a 65 yr young woman. Thank. You again. Now I have to figure out how to get the front window out.🥳💞
I don't know. Seems like you need a working regulator to replace your regulator. Kind of silly to show how to replace a perfectly functioning regulator, i.e., one that allows you to raise and lower the window. Hey, here's a thought.... maybe the reason I'm replacing the regulator is because IT DOESN'T WORK. I know, crazy concept, right?
Send like the old one still has a metal ring holding the 2 cables in the center and my new one came with a zip tie there, should i not cut the zip tie? I think you did in the video but prolly weren't supposed to?
I can hear power trying to bring my front passenger window down, but it’s stuck all the way closed… any idea if that means the entire assembly needs replaced?
Great job! I like the way you make It look simple ! Very good video, especially for something I need to do! Thank you! Really get a lot of info from all your videos!
My back driver side door window will roll down, but won't roll back up past 1/5th of the way. I can tell if I need to replace the motor or the window holder. I notice the clamps that hold the window also won't stay in their location so I had to use zip ties to hold in onto the doors frame through some wholes. Any help?
If like me you are doing this procedure because your window is UP and you cannot electrically power it DOWN, you will be confused by this procedure's instructions to lower the window electrically to facilitate removing the old regulator. Several commenters mentioned this. The video is unclear on this point, and responses from the video producer ("We'll get right on that!") are unhelpful. Here's what I did: You do NOT need to lower the window glass to remove the old regulator. 1) Tape the window in place as instructed in the video. 2) Loosen the window glass clamps without removing the bolt, as instructed. 3) Using tin snips or a heavy wire cutter, CUT both cables on the old regulator where they cross in the open center area of the door, and remove any loose ends, springs, grommets or other parts that might release. One or both window glass clamps may slide down the left and right tracks when you do this, but it doesn't matter if they don't. 4) Remove the six (6) bolts, three on each side, holding the regulator tracks in place, and then fold the tracks towards each other and pull the whole mechanism out through the center opening. Feel around in the bottom of the door area to make sure you get all the old regulator parts out. Done. 5) Install your new regulator following the instructions in the video. Hope this helps.

What about when the window is stuck halfway down bc the regulator is shot? Do all the following the same?

Bro 🤦🏾♂️ I’m here because my window “won’t roll down “ 😂
great video. Very helpful to see how the pieces interact, and to know what I'm supposed to be removing when i take out the old (broken) one.
Save yourself and just take out the switch assembly to put the window up and down. Much easier to see than putting the door panel off and on.
+Jeremy Hagen We appreciate the feedback. Sometimes there are multiple ways to accomplish the same repair. 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
How does the cables fit on the little slider deals on a '99 Chevy Silverado on passenger side window
What would you do if the window was partially down and you can't get to the bolts that attach the glass to the regulator?
Send like the old one still has a metal ring holding the 2 cables in the center and my new one came with a zip tie there, should i not cut the zip tie? I think you did in the video but prolly weren't supposed to?
Thanks for the great video, did this job today and it is super easy. 👍
How can I put the window up if it’s stuck in the door?

Is there a video for what to do when the motor will not pull the regulator down to change it?
+Ben Marascalco We're always cycling through common cars. We'll add this repair to our list! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
To make this simpler you can take the window switches out of the door pannel so you dont have to deal with the entire door pannel 6 times
Can this window reg work in Tahoe 2002
What if the window is down? Does it matter?
What is your window doesn't come down, how do I get to the bolt?
+Tanok Tenahua We do not have a video for this repair right now, but we'll keep this request in mind for a future video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Appreciate your time. 👍

My GMC yokon while driving comes alive with ever bump in the road and goes slower then before. An electrical problem???
Great Job THANKS
Thanks so much!
When you temporarily reattach the old regulator to the switch to lower the bracket from the glass; its working, so why change it?
Did you not notice how it started to drag/strain when he rolled the window up?
I test the "new" regulator to make sure it's not DOA before bolting it all in.
Good job brother
Well done...Thank you
Show me how to do it manually my window won't go up at all and I definitely don't have fancy tools for stuff
lol.... so what do you when if doesn't roll down at all? which is my problem.
Five days ago lol, me too
what did you do?
great job thanks
