It's actually supposed to be normal. COVID-19 is still there, and kids and adults are doing work virtually, which ties with the theme.

I've seen a lot of purple themes for September and I feel weird because I did purple for August LOL It was a purple starry Halloween theme (because I'm a Halloween FANATIC lol), and my September theme is... spiders XD I'm really enjoying your beginning and end animations - they're so cute! Your color combos always inspire me. I would have never thought to use beige and purple together!

Amanda's September themes are always ones that bring out my inner nerd: space/sci-fi in 2018, stationery in 2019 and then computers this year.
Amanda: With this theme, it is so so easy....
Me, Literally not even knowing how to use fine liners because I always fray them: 👁👄👁
my fineliners are all so frayed and messy
I thought it was just me
tip: Don't push down on a fine liner (or any felt nib marker) like you would a ball point pen. I have a fine liner from 10 years ago that I still use because I don't push down on it when I use it.
That means you are pressing too hard, you'll ruin many types of pens by doing that. Biros not so, but fountain pens, felt tips, alcohol markers, and fine liners will all get damaged. You only need to lightest touch to make a mark on the paper :)
Have you done an ice cream theme??? I think it would look cute to have like cups on ice cream, come and melted ice creams x

Anyone who judges Amanda for inspiring us to doodle like her... Stop.....Amanda is amazing🧡 and she doesn't tell us to doodle, we see her and then we become inspired and try it ourselves, we may not be the best at drawing and journalling but we try, Amanda inspires some of us to actually do something, she works hard and it pays off. The idea of the windows screen was so amazing and i loved the mood tracker idea💜Hope you do more videos😘ILY. I ordered a notebook and set of washi tape hope they get here soon!

It takes practice but it can be done freehand. Most people can only draw straight in one direction and that direction is fairly unique to the person. Amanda uses a grid, but I freehand it. It's not too bad if you use the edge of the page as a guide

Love that there is a balance in your videos. Previous month was really draw-heavy (i am not a native English speaker so my English is not really good) , this month is “easier” to draw and more simple. That’s something that I really like!

i looooooove this theme omg, ive been SO obsessed with these colors lately and this theme FITS MY AESTHETIC SO MUUUCH aaaah, gotta be one of my favorite themes you've ever made ! queen did that again 💛

I'm a student and I have been using a sort of setup like Amanda where I lay out everything for the month. I call it a 'dashboard' and I have a mini month calender, coupled with monthly tasks and monthly due date sections where I write down upcoming tests and projects. Just for fun I also include a monthly note section and a birthday section. Its a really good idea if anyone is looking to make their journal more effective!

She uses a grid on her paper which makes things easier. I am one of those freaks though who can freehand a straight line, mwhahaha

I’ve been a bit discouraged by bullet journaling recently because I’m not the greatest artist and I don’t always have time to source images to do collages to decorate my pages. I love your more artistic spreads but this one is so simple it’s really gotten me excited about recreating it and getting back into by bujo!!
