I was there on Saturday. The show seemed smaller than in years past, although this was the first show since Covid. I was there in August for the New York Steam Pagent of Steam too. I go to both shows every year, but Canandaigua only hosts John Deere Expo on odd years.
I think Covid did put a hurting on the Expo. I have also noticed that a lot of the people are older folks and are to the point that it is difficult for them to load all the equipment and travel. Regardless I always enjoy going! Hope to be at the steamers this year! Thanks for watching!
My favorite John Deere is in the shed. I intend to restore it! It is a 1954 model 70 row crop standard.(Swartz wide front). We were made the same year!
Thank you for sharing! '54 was a good year for sure. I know the Farmalls a little more than the John Deere's and aftermarket wide fronts seemed to be popular modifications no matter the brand. Thanks for watching!
1946 A drop plow double discs sickle bar mower mail box on front as a tool box. Knoxville Ohio. Lost. Really would like to find her.
