Fun to watch them in action 😎👍
Yes it sure is. Thank you for stopping by to watch the video!
I ran one before the war. How does one angle the blade?
I believe horizontal angle and depth were changed by the cylinders above, not sure if blade angle was set manually. Thank you for watching!
Crispy clean right there. Someone went through a few gallons of elbow grease
@@dylanlaton7809Definitely a lot of work in that one. Looked even better in person. Thank you for watching!
Usually I would see Chisum-Ryders on high crop IH tractors or Fords. But usually the Ford high crops were more grape harvesters. I guess it would just depend on the equipment dealers.
@@bobearthquakepumpkinfarm7455 To me that would make more sense on a high crop. I am sure there were many other setups also, kind of a use what you have. I really enjoyed that show. Thank you for watching!
Oooooo a Mini Moe!! You thinkin' on restoring it?
That would be awesome! Unfortunately it isn't mine. Although I will be working on a few tractors I do have in the future. Thank you for watching!
😊 awesome Beautiful 😊
@@BobJohn-c9r Thank you!
Had an ih skid steer ,sure didn’t look as good as this one!
@@donstone4349 Out of all the incredible things at that show that skid steer stood out to me the most. Impressed me so much I wanted it on the cover of the video. How did your skid steer perform? Thank you for watching!
Very nice. Isn't it ironic how little old J.I. Case survived while the big ones crashed burned, bankrupt or had to merge. Good product always survives the test of time.
J.I. Case just kept chugging along. Hard to believe Case, International Harvester, New Holland, and what was Ford Tractor are all now one company.
JI Case had some of the worst management in corporate history and yet the name still survives. It is some kind of miracle. Case did go broke in 1964 and was taken over by Kern County Land Company, who was then taken over by Tenneco. It is estimated that the president of Tenneco had a soft spot for Case and dropped approximately 2 billion in an attempt to save it. This is documented in a book titled, "Losing the tractor wars" IIRC Nice 400. Case dealers finally had a tractor that was advanced ahead of the competition. If only it had been introduce a few years earlier.
Thank you for sharing! I don't know a lot about Case, but from what little I know it reminds me of the Jeep brand. It started strong, keeps changing hands and yet Today the name is still around. Someone somewhere must definitely like Case because International Harvester was a much bigger name and brand.
@@thewestnewyorker7269 Everybody except John Deere was in dire straits during the farm financial crisis of the early-mid 80's. Tenneco swooped in and scooped up the assets, tax benefits, and dealer network of IH for a song in late 1984. IH was within 5 days of going out of business completely. In order to woo the dealers and customers the paint was changed and IH was included in branding. Interestingly, CASE construction makes no mention of IH as the construction division was usually quite healthy. If you go to the Case AG site there is barely a mention of JI Case. If you go to the Construction site it is highly complimentary to Case history. Strange disconnect IMHO. At one time, Case was king of equipment manufacturing making nearly 50% of all steam engines and threshing machines. It's too bad they lost their way with poor planning and management decisions many years ago. The Eagle on the Globe was once a symbol of greatness.
Came from the Letterkenny Army depot in Chambersburg PA. Pulled b*mb wagons during WW2.
Thank you so much for sharing! I had heard you telling someone about it. I wanted to talk with you about it but didn't want to interrupt. Only had a short time there and I never made it back to ask you about it. That would have been neat to meet Pete.
My Father passed recently and his memorial service was Monday, The photo on the memorial program was him sitting on his 1945 Farmall A. Dad was a dairy farmer and a truck mechanic up in Mansfield Pa.
Sorry to hear that your father recently passed! The photo sounds like a fitting memorial. We will be praying for you and your family as I know a loss like that can be hard. Thank you for sharing and stopping by our little channel.
Tool box is wrong. Original is metal.
Good eye! Definitely not OEM. Thank you for watching!
We've been to Bloomsburg twice when they hosted the national Red Power Roundup. I don't know if Ben Trapani and his wife are still involved but they and their state club really know how to put on a show. Nice job!
I really enjoyed the show. The club definitely did a great job! Thank you for watching!
That was my green Army tug. Pete saw it and my F -20 and aked me some questions. It was great to meet him... however, we were distracted by his fans ,and our meeting was brief. Check out "Deering Dave."
Some good looking IH there I have the ugly step sister it’s a IH 454 and have Ben to a couple tractor shows here in TN and have never seen one at a show
Definitely had a lot of good looking IH machines there. I imagine you won't see a lot of other 454s, nice tractor to have. Thank you for watching!
i live about 15 minutes north of bloomsburg and i go every year and its always a lovely show
First time I have been to that show. I definitely plan to attend again. Very good show. Thank you for watching!
I want to buy that tractor for my farm.
They were/are quite a workhorse!
How much would one of this tractors go for $?
Second last one is the most popular
😂 Lol!
A cousin has one, good tractor but a bitch to steer!!
As big as they are, Armstrong steering would be a workout. Thank you for watching!
I was there on Saturday. The show seemed smaller than in years past, although this was the first show since Covid. I was there in August for the New York Steam Pagent of Steam too. I go to both shows every year, but Canandaigua only hosts John Deere Expo on odd years.
I think Covid did put a hurting on the Expo. I have also noticed that a lot of the people are older folks and are to the point that it is difficult for them to load all the equipment and travel. Regardless I always enjoy going! Hope to be at the steamers this year! Thanks for watching!
One of the finest tractors ever. Four wheels and a giant motor. Now that's engineering.
