So what you did to bypass the lid lock was unscrew the lid lock from the lid? Do you think that would work on a Kenmore ??? We have a Kenmore top load it looks exactly like this one (control panel wise) so I was curious to know what it’s doing when it’s washing my clothes lol. Now I know what I can do thanks!
the splutch drive agitator washing machines made these days work slightly different now: they don't lock the lid until the first spin cycle, but if you open it it will still stop and the agitation profile is slightly different and it varies more often and even on auto sensing water level it doesn't need to sense for an off-balance load or cycle the lid lock three times (or four since it doesn't lock for around half the cycle) and on the rinse cycle from what i heard from my mom's new washer, it just sprays the load before going into the final spin

have the same exact model and it scares the crap out of me because at some point in the wash it'll do this weird breathing thing and the sides expand a bit like its actually breathing so i feel like there's something wrong in there

@autk kwon thats okay nothing js wrong with it just normal operations
Let me be honest, but this wash operation was the same as my whirlpool 9 year old washer, but the agitation was slow this year and can barely clean my clothes. Somehow it was clean when I take the garments out of the washer
Best he washer I seen yet. Although, it will probably break down on you in a year or two. Or have repair issues on it.
It's technically not an HE machine, although I am surprised it's lasted over 5 years with us now.
@@DaSamNudge serious. Wow, over 5 years. That’s a long time for a machine like that.
@@rikki7688 yep and we got it for like $25 used from somewhere, I’m pretty sure it was made in 2011 or 2012
Impressive.
@@DaSamNudge also, I want to let you know that I have a 2016 speed Queen washer. I remember the day when it came in my house. The date was June 4th 2016 at around 3pm. And was officially in service at around 3:15 pm washing bathroom rugs with dirt on them. And got them clean. And then did standard clothes with stains on them and some baby clothes I was trying to sell. So I did a series of treatments to throughly remove the stains and throughly clean and sanitize the clothes. I had so much, for about 4 months straight, I had the washer running from 7 AM to 1 AM. Some days all all day, all night. I also washed off Mold from some shower curtains. And some of them were left outside for a year being used as an element and sun blocker for a gazebo. So they collected Calcium deposits and dirt dust and moss on them. So I had to bleach the curtains in hot water. The treatment was a success. And had to wash a set of bedroom rugs that haven’t been washed in months. So it collected mass dust, dirt and hair and foot powder that my grandfather used for his feet. And had to wash it twice to get it sufficiently clean. The treatment was a success. And washed multiple Queen and king sized comforters that were dusty. And one Queen sized comforter was sitting outside and brought it in to safety and it absorbed some old mosquito water from planting pots. And I had to bleach the comforter in hot water. And the treatment was a success. And another Queen comforter that I had was on the floor. And I had a fish cooler with lake water in it. And it had a leak. So I patched the small leak up with some scotch tape and the comforter had a very decent amount of lake water on it. So I had to bleach it in hot water. And the treatment was a success once again. And I was doing janitorial work back in 2016. So I cleaned a garbage disposal that has never been properly cleaned in it’s whole ten years of life installed to my sink. So I got some rags, unplugged the disposal for safety reasons. And as you guessed, I used the rags to scrub the disposal down. I bleached it in hot water. And once again the treatment was a success. And I had a pet Great Dane. And he jumped up onto my bed and make a mass mess out of it after a while. And there were chew toys of his that needed to be washed every two or so weeks. So, yup, the treatment came out as a success with the Great Dane mess as well. And throughout 2016 to up to this year here’s all the loads I’ve ever done. I’ve done loads from simple dust on clothes, to Mud, Dirt, Outside elemental dust, Dog Drool, Mold, Mosquito Water, Lake Water, Calcium deposits, Moss, Dog hair, House dirt from floor and rugs mixed with baby powder, and throughout the years, since I voluntarily work for independent living homes and keep maintenance in these homes, I even had to wash clothes with human waste, and had to clean a dead turkey that was sitting in an unplugged freezer for 10 days and had to use bleach along with rags and towels to clean the agonizing mess. And even had to clean up rotten milk and garbage up with rags, and clean cigarette ash off the floor. And some raw meat and gutted fish juice from my cooking clothes. So, those are pretty much all the big time loads I’ve ever done in my 2016 speed Queen washer. And it is still here in service and still kicking strong. (AND ALL OF THE TREATMENTS THAT I MENTIONED HERE CAME OUT AS A SUCCESS!)
Guys this washer brand is like a Amana and the agitator or impeller agipeller does that on cheep modern washers the old school ones with direct drive is whirlpool and kenmore has those and the newer whirlpool has brought back the direct drive version so yeah
is the tub supposed to go back and forth like that?
Jon Homrich . They all do that now except for Speed Queen, because the others are built cheap.
All this talk about the cheap stuff Korea and China builds..Well what the hell do we build? -- CHEAP!
BroccoliBeefed i remember a time when even the cheap machines were built to last. i also remember going to pick appliances out with my parents and trying to convince them to buy at the time 15 years ago a $600 amana which to them was outrageous for a top loader. they went with a slightly less expensive Kenmore Elite on sale of course which didnt even give them 10 years of service and, so this time they bit the bullet and got a speed queen.
Jon Homrich yes it is designed to spin the opposite direction of the agitator
I love my Amana Washer it looks the same. So Admiral, Amana, Maytag, Kenmore and Roper there made from Whirlpool.
15:10 Come to the Laundry Circus for the big spin of the Admiral belt drive washing machine
Thanks for posting these amazing vids. Is this washer model still continued ?
J VON J Archie bjfvjgfchhtdxhhgdfghh
Peice of crap comment reply, it is mostly not probably because it was manufactured in either the 90’s or the 80’s. You can tell because it has the old whirlpool agitator design on the top just how the Whirlpool Clean Touch he filmed has.
@@Alarmo05221 this washer was made in 2011 through 2015. I strongly feel like these would be popular among Ebay, but not official whirpool and cooperating brands. sooo... not really... but it would be worth a shot.
@@birdbones31 Speed queen still does this design but with their new tech. However EBay has this stuff a lot and it is always your friend for vintage, maybe not for purchase due to scammers but worth a try.

Those noises are absolutely funny
You gotta have a deep rinse option on a washer. What if people want to use fabric softener?
You could get that kind of washer, or you could do the manual test mode.
this has the same agitator has the roper rtw4640
Great video, thanks for sharing!

I use TIDE HE TURBO FREE& GENTLE PODS WITH OXI and they do an excellent job in my SPEED QUEEN TR5 SERIES WASHER (2018).
The spin cycle sounds so quite when the drain holes stops.
Quantos rpm?
Where we can put fabric softner in this machine?
jass gill you have to order the dispenser online, at whirlpool.
You have to order one and take the default one off
and also have you considered doing a suds return cycle plz I want to watch you

what happend to the old maytag neptune?
+Korosch Studios It broke for no reason lol I expect this one to do the same within at least 5 years
i know what you are talking about because i live in Germany and the newer washing machines as other newer appliances are actually programmed with a problem so they break down and the people are forced to get a new one. What a scam!
Korosch Studios Yeah and new ones are assembled with cheap parts, like this one, the sticker says "Assembled in the USA", but its all cheap Chinese parts.
You think that is bad - try this "Designed and engineered in New Zealand" in big letters and at the back in tiny letters "Made in China".
why is the basket sitting so low?

there is an impeller model of these washers and my stepmom (and eventually my dad) used to have one but in 2016 the pump leaked or something and so my dad brought a kenmore frontloader washer and dryer made by lg and the impeller washer washes using a slower agitation but it has a bigger arc than this washer

In this day and age. The only washer anyone should ever buy is a speed queen. This one has decent role over though.

when i first saw videos of high-efficiency machines on youtube back in 2008 or so it made me not like the conventional washing machine my family had until it leaked and so they got another conventional washing machine and my mom kept it until late last year when she replaced both the washer and the dryer with an amana washer and dryer and it made me feel better about saving money on water and electricity
Hays Coleman your HE Amana washer is going to end up in the landfill after 5 months or 3 years
Bitch
This isn’t a direct drive but this is better than those he washers that don’t use enough water and don’t have an agitator
I like the belt drive washing machines that clean my clothes very well
I wish could have the same one because the mine is broken
Go out and get a speed queen. It's worth it.
Go out a Buy A Speed Queen You'll Regret It,
Nasreddine El-Dahabi get a speed queen they won't die on ya for the next 25+ years if taken care of after purchase
wow she spins nice

How long have you had your washer? It looks like it's doing
a good job cleaning.
My next washer will be a Speed Queen top loader.
I will get a speed queen
Is this a HE washer?
Uses a lot of water on some cycles and also takes small time to clean clothes and only one cycle timestamp has a filled tub makes this not really HE

Admiral? This is flat out Whirlpool. I don't like the monopoly they have on washer companies, brands, etc. They bought Kitchen Aid's home dishwasher division, they bought Maytag.

If those companies could have competed with Whirlpool they would have still been in business.
Can’t forget about Amana
