EDIT 2: Unfortunately, It is actually a Whirlpool WTW4800XQ, And inside the agitator is dirty, you need to clean that out before severe bacteria comes to the washer. I think one of my dad's/mom's friends from years ago had this washer, I just don't know if it was this one. But the sound seemed familiar.
Washer is dirty on top and inside agitator. How would you clean that out? , Don't see any soap in the clothes. Does have a lot of water though. How old is the washer?
Not a high efficiency washer. Does not save more water just energy. I guess it saves a bit of water due to the spray rinse. Speed Queen washers are designed for commercial applications so it makes sense they are still allowed to make traditional washers with a Normal Eco cycle which is a spray rinse instead of deep rinse. Some of the older machines just used a lower water level for the rinse cycle. I believe some of the older GE’S and some of the Whirlpool direct drives had that.
Not boring. I just fixed our machine using the "secret" codes available by rotating the main knob L+R+R+R+L+R all within 6 seconds. Now I'm wondering if it would make sense to permanently disable the lid-lock. No kids in this household and from time to time, I wish I could just pop the lid to add one more forgotten article of clothing. Thanks for the vid.
I had a similar washer but let's be honest I know a lot of people hate this washer but the rollover was good in these machines but I hated my Centennial because the sensor detector broke which caused the machine to leak water so much.
It actually does. It might be a Welling as well who knows. I’m not exactly good at the motor brands companies use but that’s not very important information. But it can be one of those unknown motors.

+BroccoliBeefed There is no inherent advantage of spin drains over neutral drains. At least with neutral drain you dont have to worry about a sock or small articles of clothing getting caught vetween inner and outer tubs.

The lid is filthy. I can only imagine 1pod and cold water. You have a bacterial colony growing inside the machine.
