    Worth doing a search if you are wanting a kit RV Mega in Mt Maunganui have them for less than $200. Seen others selling at up to $400

    Great video, sadly we have a cross member in the way. Could the plastic vent be cut down to sit flat with both top and bottom. It looks like it is a nice integrated system once fitted .

      yea I think so.. Im sure some one else has had the crossmember problem and got around it like that. your right it is very well integrated into the standard thetford system...its been one of our best additions . thanks for watching Cheers Greg

    Thanks for the tutorial, after watching ordered and installed same in our Silverline, & followed your process. Only thing is our fan runs for exactly 7 mins before shutdown, different to the 2 minutes your referenced. 7 mins is a bit long I reckon, just wondering if you made a change to get yours to operate a 2 min cycle??????…or is it just “luck of the draw”??

    • @KiwiWanderers
      @KiwiWanderers  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ok so 7 mins is a very long time especially in the middle of the night. We didn’t do anything to make ours run for a shorter time. I would send an email to thetford support and see if there is anything they can do. We love the no smell feature. Cheers Greg

    Great job! We just got our new Silverline a month ago and this is exactly what it needs! 😂 I’ve just ordered the kit from Oz and will be giving it a go. Did you have to cut the silicon bede sealing the toilet bowl to the floor first or does it just pop off when you pull the toilet out? Cheers heaps

    • @KiwiWanderers
      @KiwiWanderers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Stefan, Our bowl just eased of the floor slowly without cutting it, it is a good bit of kit you wont regret it. thanks for watching Cheers Greg

    Thanks for the info. Did you countersink the outlet into the floor. I have installed my system but find my cartridge is now tight to get in and out. I was thinking of pulling the system out and countersinking the outlet??

    • @KiwiWanderers
      @KiwiWanderers  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Gavin, no we have had no problems with the cassette going in and out, but I see no reason why you couldn't countersink it. thanks for watching Cheers Greg

      Hi Craig I was a bit nervous drilling such a large hole in your floor but the instructions are quite good I have put a link to the instructions I used in the description of the video. Have fun and Thanks for watching cheers Greg

    Seems this is the kit we need for the new compliance rules. Our toilet has a top part unlike yours 😔. Think we'll maybe get someone to do it 🤣

    • @KiwiWanderers
      @KiwiWanderers  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yea I’m think the NZMCA is trying to get the vent part of the new rules changed … but definitely a fantastic addition to our van … makes living in close proximity so much easier.. if you know what I mean. Thanks for watching cheers Greg and Sandy

    Couldn't you just put a tube from the Thetford outlet screw top to the outside to ventilate?
