It takes time and Rorys only really been pushing for a year or so with his MORR collabs. Fabrats, Layton all had channels for years but only started pushing a few years. Robby Layton is prime example. He has been pushing and collabing with as many other creators to drive the channel. He was so out of place with Heavy D and the other exaggerators but you can see that what he's aiming for. Rory has stayed true to himself and not sold out.
@@graememckay9972 Thats true! Robby is a good dude. But people are bailing Morr bc its a bunch of kids playing for a camera now. They're bailing fab bc Michelle is annoying and Paul is a hack. This channel is the king!
Some old engineer somewhere is dying screaming at the screen saying you're using it 10× it's design parameters! Yeah, probably. Thank you Mr. Engineer for this great transfercase!
It impresses the heck out of me that this stuff doesn’t intimidate you guys at all … you just pull it apart, get in there, and make it right! And, the thing about this mechanical stuff is, if you have the parts, it is fixable. I think that’s what I like so much about videos like this … and your trail fixes. If only everything that went wrong in life were that way.
l'm sure l'm older than all you guys, but l must say, when l grow up, l want to be just like you guys. l don't know anyone out there who seems to have as much fun as you guys do, keep on keeping on :)
Stuff breaks and stuff gets fixed. Such is the life and times of most of us. I prefer watching you do your stuff instead of doing my stuff! 😁 More entertaining, fewer cuss words and NO blood on ME!! LOL!! Keep up the great work!!
You weren't kidding about parts being available. Pull 1 from the rig, pull another one from the yard, a 3rd one from some guy and then frankeinstein it together and the best part is you know exactly what is broken before you even open the darn thing because its something that is fixed in the house rather than some warranty thing elsewhere on other side of the country.
Rory you are the most down to earth and honest person ive ever seen on TH-cam. The way you treat your daughter and employees is something most people should strive for. As long as you make videos ill be watching. Keep up the life youve chosen and keep treating people the way you do.
Great repair, now there’s someone who can rebuild a transfer box blindfolded. Cheers Rory wish I could be there for the Mountain America Expo but still 4,800 miles from you, sorry maybe one day. All the Best to You, Lily, Mike and Shaun🇺🇸 From us in England 🏴

Rory your intro kinda had me a little worried as a fan… your breathing heavy and then when your let the transfer case down you made a comment about your back!!!! Take care of yourself my man! You got a beautiful family and I’d hate to here your fun got cut short from something preventable! Take it from a person who has lost parents young because they refused to take care of themselves!
Rory, people can call you a sarcastic smartass or whatever they want to say - but if you ask me, I'd say that you're the most level headed guy in the business. Your attention to detail and your sense of humor AND SARCASM is what makes you the best. I just love to see your reaction when life kicks you in the go-nads cause I know that it's gonna be silky smooth and laden with a bit of smartassness. DON'T. CHANGE. ANYTHING.
When I had my trucking company I remember the days were everyone was off.. AND I was in the yard/shop working on my equipment on the weekends.. when you own a business, you do not own any days off..

Safety glasses with a wire wheel reminded me of a time I was using one to clean a metal bar. I could hear "pit pat" and felt the paint and rust hit my stomach and chest. After a few minutes I realised the wire wheel was looking skinny so I stopped. I looked down and my thick jacket had hundreds of wire bristles stuck into it. A few were through the jacket into my hoody. I wasn't wearing any face or eye protection. Haven't ever made that mistake again.
I mostly just rock safety squints but I will definitely wear actual safety glasses for a wire wheel. I have had way too many of those little bastards imbed themselves into my body to risk one to my eyeball.

Mike's comparison of rusty crustosion to polishing compound is the kind of deep wisdom I watch this channel for. He's a wealth of automotive knowledge, lol. 🤣
Poor old Trail Mater got bit by those unnecessary front diggs and the Spirit of a Ford trapped in a Chevy’s body !!! And everything else everyone tells you won’t work while you’re doing it day in and day out. Glad you got it fixed !!!!
Most Excellent Episode.. I just love the teaching element of these vids..(let me add...that the "Green" t-shirts give me a warm and cozy feeling of environmentalism..hahha)(Rory is soo competent)

The K30 dually with NP205 uses a 2 piece driveshaft with a carrier bearing at the end of a short TC driveshaft. That short drive shaft and carrier bearing takes the weight and loads of driveshaft movement off the TC bearing. The short shaft between TC and carrier bearing is nearly straight and only spins a splined shaft that attaches to the long drive shaft with a U joint. The long driveshaft is supported by carrier bearing, travels with the axle, and takes the abuse. You might want to re-install the carrier bearing support, carrier bearing and use a short 2 piece driveshaft and treat the rear TC output like a PTO shaft. It does most of the work. The 205 aftermarket output bearing should not be needed if 205 is installed correctly. Matt is having same issue for same reason and it's because the np205 is not being used as designed.
Matt is not having the same issue. I understand what you're thinking but even the statement is wrong. Yes THIS truck used to have a 2 piece, but there were many that came with a single long shaft that never had a problem. My issue came from using the wrong part and starving the output bearing of oil. I understand you watched a video and probably know way more than me having done the hands on work and talked with multiple leaders in the transfer case industry, but my issue is not caused from the driveshaft. And to add to your statement being false, Trailmater is a true K-30 truck. However the wheelbase has been shortened 12" and is closer to a short bed truck that didn't use a 2 piece rear driveshaft. So once again, please tell me how MY truck is set up.

Shawn’s mullet exudes freedom. Also I cringe at the use of your blade Rory. Let’s hope it’s a cheap one lol. After watching the last scene of blade abuse, at least it’s a benchmade, they should take care of you.
