We got my coach these as a gift, between 3 of us, so price didn't hurt to bad. They're pretty good, forces us to be very accurate because how small the logo is in the middle. The only problem is we tore through the padding quick. I think it's been about 5 months and we're already looking for new mits. I want to say id give them 4 out of 5.
Unfortunately this is pretty common with these. It's a mark up on a useless design. Ring to Cage makes a double sided version of this thats more durable for $60.
While I don't doubt the things you said are true, I will have to wait and see what my experience long term is with these mitts. To me, they seem to be the best quality mitt I've owned. I will reply back if I get similar results as you. But for now I am lovin them!
@SENSEIJASON we had some old fairtex mits that lasted about 7 years. After that, we were just hitting pads, but they had no cushion and we mainly trained with Thai Pads. We had Thais Mai for about 8 years and I ended up getting him some yokkao ones. Sorry to go on a ramble, but in case anyone has questions about other pads/ mits.
Just the fact that every reviewer has a different favorite mitt should tell the viewer that the only way to tell if a mitt is best for you is to try them.
I dunno. Looks fine, but the China-produced $15 focus mitts that I bought on Amazon when I started out have lasted 8 years of 3 times a week training. I

Really nice of you guys! Are the turtle mitts the only ones that get torn up, or do you guys tear up all the mitts over time?

Film a series of focus mitt work in your garage! Convert it, put down more blue mats and start your reviews there and coaching videos.

Key word, try for yourself.
Nice review.
Thank you! Cheers!
Why on earth is the coach holding pads like that is the real question!

Damn those prices man...
A worthy investment
